You may feel broken, but you are still chosen.
The enemy loves to attack the mind. He whispers lies like, “You’re not enough. You can’t spread the Word of God because you’re broken. Look at your life—everything is falling apart. Your children aren’t coming home. Your grief will consume you. Your husband will leave. You’ll never be enough.”
But those are lies from the father of lies.
I know those lies because I’ve heard them too. I have battled the feeling of not being enough for most of my life. The enemy tries to use every little thing—and every big thing—to convince me that because I’m hurting, because I’m grieving, because life feels heavy, somehow I’m disqualified.
But God says otherwise.
God says I am the apple of His eye.
God says I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
God says He formed me in my mother’s womb.
God says He knows every hair on my head.
God says I am chosen.
God says I am part of a royal priesthood.
God says I am His.
We have to know our identity in Christ.
And even as I speak this to others, I’m also preaching it to myself.
Because the truth is, many people see the warrior. They see the worship. They see the fight. But they don’t always see the battle in the mind. They don’t see the tears. They don’t hear the lies that try to creep in when it’s quiet.
But worship is my warfare.
I fight for my children.
I fight for my grandchildren.
I fight for my marriage.
I fight for my peace.
I fight against every thought the enemy tries to plant in my mind.
And when those thoughts come, we have to say: “Get behind me, Satan.”
Because we are not fighting for victory—we are fighting from victory.
Jesus already won.
He went to the cross.
He took the beating.
He endured the suffering.
He conquered death, hell, and the grave.
The enemy watched and still lost.
So yes, maybe you feel broken.
But God has never been afraid of broken things.
He uses broken pieces to create testimonies.
He uses pain to birth purpose.
He uses grief to deepen compassion.
He uses wounds to bring healing to others.
Broken does not mean rejected.
Broken does not mean forgotten.
Broken does not mean disqualified.
It means God is still working.
You are chosen.
You are loved.
You are enough—not because of who you are on your own, but because of whose you are.
And when one of us is weak, the Body of Christ lifts one another up.
So warrior, lift your head.
We fight together.
We stand together.
And we stand from victory.
Because you may be broken, but you are still chosen.
