What a Sunday!

Today we celebrated lives changed by Jesus through baptism!

There is nothing better than seeing someone publicly declare their faith and watching the gospel come to life right before our eyes.

But Sunday wasn’t just about celebrating what God has done, it was about preparing for what He wants to do next. We were equipped and trained to share the gospel so we can recognize the opportunities God puts in front of us, reach the people He places around us, and tell them the good news of Jesus.

Recognize. Reach. Reveal. Respond.

The question isn’t if God will give us opportunities. The question is whether we’ll be willing to respond when He does.

So, who is God putting in your path?
Who needs to hear the gospel from you?

Don’t miss the opportunity. Share Jesus. What’s preventing you?

We’re celebrating lives changed by Jesus!

Baptism is a public declaration: “I belong to Jesus!”

Join us this Sunday as we worship together and celebrate those taking this incredible step of faith!

If you’ve trusted in Jesus but haven’t been baptized yet, what’s preventing you?

And if you’ve been thinking about joining us for worship, what’s preventing you from coming, or inviting someone to join you?

Come celebrate with us this Sunday! And if you’re interested in baptism, comment “BAPTISM” or send us a message.

Already baptized? Comment 🙌 if you’re excited to celebrate with us!

Two years ago today, our community experienced a tragedy that changed so many lives forever.

Today, we had the privilege of serving breakfast to the teachers and staff at Apalachee High School, not because a meal can fix what happened, but because we want our community to know that we are here.

We remember.
We grieve.
We pray.
And we stand with our schools, our teachers, our students, and every family impacted by that day.

As a church, we believe loving our neighbors means showing up, not just when it’s easy, but especially when our community is hurting.

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2

Today, we are praying for peace, comfort, strength, and healing for the Apalachee community and for all those who continue to carry the weight of that day.

Apalachee, you are not alone. We are here. We are praying. We love you.

You don’t have to manufacture a heart for mission. You just need to let Jesus overflow.

When you truly know Christ, something changes.

His grace changes the way you see people.
His Word changes the way you live.
His presence changes what you do with your life.

And eventually, what God is doing in you starts overflowing through you.

That’s what we see in the early church.

They weren’t just devoted to Jesus when they gathered. Their devotion spilled into their homes, their relationships, their generosity, and their community.

Mission wasn’t something they added to their lives.
Mission was the overflow of a life surrendered to Jesus.

And that’s the kind of church we want to be.

Know Christ.
Grow Together.
Live Sent.

Don’t just ask, “What can I do for God?”
Ask, “What is God doing in me that He wants to overflow through me?”

What a Sunday at church!

This week, we were reminded that a healthy church isn’t built on programs, activity, or a calendar, it’s built on devotion to Jesus.

We saw that devotion lived out in such a special way as our kids and teens led us in worship!

We believe something deeply about the next generation: they aren’t just the future of the church, they are the church right now.

We want to be a church that gives them opportunities to lead, serve, worship, grow, and use the gifts God has given them. We don’t want to simply prepare them for someday. We want to disciple them to follow Jesus today.

Because this is who we are:

Know Christ.
Grow Together.
Live Sent.

Our prayer is that generations of people at Ebenezer would be so devoted to Jesus that our devotion would overflow into our families, our community, and the world around us.

What a joy to worship together as one church, across generations.

A candle doesn’t need a better room. It simply needs to be lit.

And once it’s lit, it changes the room.

That’s the point of being the light.

We don’t need a better culture, a better campaign, or better circumstances before we can make an impact. We need to be lit by the power of the Holy Spirit and willing to carry the light of the gospel into the darkness.

Jesus said, “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses…” — Acts 1:8

Be the light. Carry the gospel. Let God use you right where you are. 💡

The church didn't start with a strategy.

It started with 120 ordinary people who waited on God. No platform. No budget. No polished plan — a group so unimpressive that historians are still trying to explain what happened next.

Then God moved.

And that same Spirit who empowered the first church still empowers His church today.

So the question isn't "how do we build a bigger crowd?" It's "are we depending on God to build His church?"

Swipe through ➡️ and let this one sit with you: the Spirit doesn't create spectators. He creates witnesses.

So… who's your one?

One person in your life who needs to hear about Jesus. Name them. Pray for them. Tell them.

Drop a first name in the comments — or just a 🙏 — and we'll pray for them with you.

Before Pentecost ever happened, there were ten quiet days nobody talks about. No wind, no fire, no crowds responding to the gospel, just a room full of ordinary people getting ready.

Turns out what they did in that waiting room tells us more about how God moves than we'd expect. Swipe through to see the pattern →
