Hello, friends! Summer is winding down which means it’s almost time for a new year of CBS. Your Leaders Council is being trained and they are excited to welcome you for our first day of class on Wednesday, August 20. Class begins at 9:45 and ends at 11:30. If you haven’t heard, we are studying the book of Psalms this year! If you know someone who would like to join us, it’s not too late to register. We anticipate a wonderful time of learning, friendship, fellowship and fun. Can’t wait to see you there!

We had such an amazing first day of class yesterday! We loved being in our new space and catching up with old and new friends. If you have a friend that is still considering coming, please invite them. Our preschool classes and younger are all at capacity, but we have some room for children in first grade through twelfth grade.

The Lord has blessed us with an abundance of new leaders that have children as well as babies in our class. Because of this, we need at least one more childcare worker that will help with our Leaders Council children as well as in our baby class during our CBS class time. If you know a homeschool student that is at least 16 years old, a mom or grandma, or anyone else that may be interested please let us know. This is a paid position and the hours would be Wednesdays from 8:15 am -1:00 pm. We prayed for these leaders and these babies and we know the Lord is going to answer our prayers and provide exactly what we need and he may use YOU to connect us to the right person!!

There is nothing better for God’s people than His Word. In fact, the longest chapter in the entire Bible (Psalm 119) is dedicated to highlighting the importance of God’s Word for his people! If God, in his immeasurable wisdom, devoted so much time to explaining why we should read and meditate on His word then we know time spent studying his word is never wasted.
CBS is an in-depth study of the Word of God. We focus solely on His Words to us. If you want to grow in your faith there is no better way than the in-depth study of scripture.
Join us as we dive in to the book of Matthew this year to learn more about what Jesus did and who Jesus is!
