BISHOP ROBERT STEARNS IN THE GPA/UPPER ROOM THIS YEAR.
Bishop Robert Stearns is the founder and executive director of Eagles' Wings, a dynamic relational ministry involved in a variety of outreaches and strategic projects around the world. He has ministered in more than 30 nations around the world, with a central focus on the nation of Israel. A powerful communicator, Robert Stearns is the author of seven books, and speaks around the country at various churches, conferences, and venues. Robert is also an accomplished recording artist and soloist, with performances in the U.S., Europe, and Israel, including both the prestigious Carnegie Hall and St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City.
Robert is the visionary of the worldwide prayer initiative, “The Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem,” which is observed annually on the first Sunday of October, and has the participation of over 500,000 churches in over 175 nations.
Robert is also the presiding Bishop of the historic Tabernacle church in Buffalo, NY and President of the Israel Christian Nexus in Los Angeles, CA. He is at the forefront of educating Christian communities worldwide regarding the role of Israel, the Jewish people, and our shared Judeo-Christian values; and in 2020 was named among the top 50 Christian Allies of Israel by the Israel Allies Foundation. Joining the ranks of some of the world’s top leaders such as Ambassador John Bolton, Caroline Glick, and Alan Dershowitz, Robert received the 2021 “Genesis Award” for his courageous leadership and deep love for Israel. And in 2023 Robert was recognized at the 51st Annual Algemeiner Gala as one of the “top 100 people positively influencing Jewish life.” Robert was listed among notable heads of state, celebrities, innovators, journalists, spiritual leaders, and heroes championing the Jewish state. Robert was the 2024 Recipient of the prestigious Jerusalem Award, Dedicates Award to Memory of Arnon Zmora at Friends of Zion Museum, Jerusalem. Previously awarded to President Juan Orlando Hernadez of Honduras, US President George W. Bush, President Jair Bolsonaro of Brazil and others.
