Happy Father’s Day.

Today, we honor the fathers, grandfathers, father figures, and faithful men who reflect love, patience, strength, and care in the lives of those around them.

We also pray for those who are grieving today, those missing their fathers, and those carrying tender or complicated stories.

May you be comforted by the love of our Heavenly Father, whose compassion is steady and whose presence is near.

“As a father shows compassion to his children, so the LORD shows compassion to those who fear him.” - Psalm 103:13

In an instant society, what does steady discipleship look like?

This summer, we’ll be walking through 𝐴 𝐿𝑜𝑛𝑔 𝑂𝑏𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑆𝑎𝑚𝑒 𝐷𝑖𝑟𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 by Eugene Peterson, a book that explores the Psalms of Ascent and the difference between a tourist mindset and the life of a pilgrim.

Over 8 weeks, we’ll focus on one chapter and one Psalm each week, looking at practical guidance for faithful Christian living and witness.

Childcare for children 5 and under is available by request. Please email or text Jennifer no later than the Wednesday of that week to reserve your spot.

For June, we are collecting 16 oz. boxes of dry pasta for the South Hall Community Food Pantry.

This monthly food drive is a simple way to help stock the pantry and support families in our community.

Donations can be dropped off at the church throughout the month. Thank you for giving generously!

Our 3x3 Summer Groups are designed to make that easy. Each group will include 3 families or individuals who will connect 3 times throughout the summer.

You can sign up as a family or as an individual, and each person or family will have the chance to choose one activity. Go for a walk, meet at the park, invite your group over for dinner or dessert, or head out to eat together.

This summer, we’re walking through a new sermon series called 𝑷𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒎𝒔: 𝑨 𝑳𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒖𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝑺𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒔.

The Psalms give us words for the real places we find ourselves and teach us how to bring every part of life before God.

Because God never intended His truth to stay only in our heads. He intends it to shape our lives.

Join us this summer as we preach through the Psalms.

Summer Sunday School begins May 31.

Adults are invited to join us for an 8-week class through A Long Obedience in the Same Direction by Eugene Peterson.

Together, we’ll explore the Psalms of Ascent and consider what faithful Christian living looks like in a world often shaped by hurry, distraction, and instant gratification.

The class will meet in Room 107 beginning May 31.

South Hall Community Food Pantry Monthly Food Drive

For May, we are collecting 24-oz jelly jars to help support the South Hall Community Food Pantry.
