Who’s the person who can tell when you’re not yourself?

The one who checks in.
The one who celebrates with you.
The one who tells you the truth when you need to hear it.
That’s more than friendship.
That’s community.

We were never meant to follow Jesus by ourselves and sometimes God uses the people around us to keep us encouraged, grounded, and moving forward.

So maybe ask yourself today:
Who has permission to speak into my life?
And maybe even more important:
Who am I showing up for? 🤝

You were never meant to do this alone.

Life gets busy.
Faith can get quiet.

And when things get hard, isolation can feel easier than letting people in.
But Hebrews 10 reminds us that we need each other, not just for a Sunday morning.

Not just when life is going well, but for the moments when we need someone to remind us who we are, pray with us, challenge us, and help us keep going.
Spiritual growth isn’t an individual sport, It’s a team sport.

So who are the people walking with you? 🚶🏽

If you haven’t found your people yet, maybe your next step isn’t knowing more. Maybe it’s simply showing up and letting someone walk with you.

What if the people you don’t know yet become the people you can’t imagine doing life without?

Walking into a new church, group, or room full of unfamiliar faces can feel awkward. We get it.
But community usually starts small.

A conversation.
A shared meal.
Showing up again next week.
Learning someone’s name.
Over time, strangers become friends.
Friends become family. And you realize you were never meant to follow Jesus alone.

Keep showing up. Find your people. Do life together. 🤝

What if the people who feel like strangers today become the family you never knew you needed? That is the kind of community God calls us into one where unfamiliar faces become familiar friends, and where showing up week after week transforms a crowd into a congregation.

It does not happen overnight. Give it a few weeks, maybe a few months. But before long, you are not just attending a service, you are walking into a room full of people who know your name, love you, and genuinely care about your life.

That is the church at its best. Not a sea of anonymous faces, but a place where you light up because you belong. If you have been hesitant to get more connected, let this be your invitation. Come, stay, and let strangers become family.

Today was more than breaking ground. 🤍

It was a reminder of what God has been building through years of prayer, faith, generosity, serving, and people simply saying yes.

We’re grateful for every person who has been part of the story so far. And honestly, we’re even more excited about the people who haven’t walked through these doors yet.

The families who will find community.
The people who will meet Jesus.
The disciples who will be made.
The lives that will be changed.

We’re building today for generations to come.

The best is still ahead, and we can’t wait to see what God does next. 🙌

This is Legacy.

A building is concrete, steel, walls, and windows.
But what happens inside those walls?

People meet Jesus.
Kids grow up knowing His name.
Families find community.
Disciples make disciples.
People discover their purpose.
People get sent.

That’s what we’re building for.

What does true greatness look like? Jesus flipped the world's definition upside down. While culture says climb the ladder, Jesus says carry a towel. In Mark 10:43, He made it clear that whoever wants to be great must become a servant and He backed it up by getting on His knees and washing His disciples' feet in John 13.

Servant leadership is not weakness, it is the most powerful force in the Kingdom. It listens first, equips others to thrive, and loves sacrificially even when it costs something. Jesus did not come to be served, but to serve and give His life for many.

If we are going to be Built Different as a church and as followers of Jesus, we must lead different. Join us and discover what it looks like to lead with a towel instead of a title.
