This Week’s CBIS Blog | New Post 📘

Choosing a seminary is about more than earning a degree—it’s about discernment, alignment, and integrity. In this week’s CBIS blog, we address an important (and often avoided) question: Who should—and who should not—enroll in a faith-based seminary?

We clearly outline who Christian Bible Institute & Seminary is designed to serve, who may be better supported elsewhere, and why transparency in Christian education matters. Our commitment is not enrollment at any cost, but ethical guidance, clarity, and faithfulness to our mission.

If you’re prayerfully considering theological education, this article will help you steward your calling wisely and make an informed decision rooted in truth—not confusion.

Student Testimonial from Senior Pastor and Magistrate Judge Dr. Tony A. Foster:

As a pastor, theological training is of paramount importance to me. With 36 years of ministry experience, I had previously received theological education but sought to expand my knowledge, attending Christian Bible Institute & Seminary. My experience with the Bible College was exceptional. The theological courses I took were world-class and provided me with an extensive biblical worldview that I still utilize today. The administration, professors, and President Dr. Tony V. Lewis were incredibly helpful. I was also honored to receive two honorary degrees from Christian Bible Institute & Seminary. I highly recommend this institution, as it will deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ and prepare you to be an ambassador for the kingdom of God.
