If God is all-powerful, why does He allow evil to continue?

Scripture gives a surprising answer: God's delay is not weakness—it's mercy.

"The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise... He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9)

Every day God waits is another opportunity for someone to turn to Him. His patience is an expression of His love, giving people every possible chance to receive salvation through Jesus.

What looks like delay may actually be mercy at work.

DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY
Read Psalms 103:10-12

Our is God is an awesome God. He reign with love, mercy, grace, and forgiveness. His nature towards His saints declares that He will not punish us, because of the sins we have committed, even though we deserve it ,but He so graciously removes our transgressions. He not only remove our sins, but He forget them never to remember them again.
The God who is the true God who rules in heaven, and in earth is full of power, and glory. With all His mercy, and grace He withholds His wrath and judgment on us even though we are guilty and deserving Lord we are forever grateful, and we glorify Your holy name.

GODS AMAZING GRACE.

How do you know who is truly following God?

Jesus didn't say to judge by popularity, knowledge, titles, gifts, or impressive words.

He said, "You will know them by their fruit."

Fruit is what grows out of a person's life—their character, conduct, and behavior over time. Anyone can make claims. Anyone can look the part. But fruit tells the real story.

This isn't a call to judge people. It's a call to use biblical discernment and wisdom about who you allow to influence your life.

Look beyond the appearance. Watch the fruit.

Jesus said, "The kingdom of God is within you."

Not distant.
Not someday.
Not out of reach.

Present. Powerful. Available.

The kingdom isn't just a future promise. It's a present reality for those who belong to Christ.

If we truly believed that, it would change everything.

DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY
Read Proverbs 9:10

To really know God is to understand who God is. Our God is the creator of everything. Our God is the first, and the last, the beginning and the end, the alpha, and omega. He is the one, and only true God.
To know and experience God is to totally submit yourselves fully to Him, because He is sovereign, and all powerful. This causes us to bow down before Him giving Him all the honor, praise, and glory with fear, reverence, and respect.
As children of God we must operate in godly wisdom understanding that He abides in us as we abide in Him, so that we will reveal His character in our lives daily. This will allows us to live a purposeful, and more abundant life. Let us rejoice, because of who He is.

ALLOW GOD'S WISDOM TO RULE YOUR LIFE.

The Holy Spirit doesn't ask us to let go of things to take something from us—He asks because He wants something better for us.

When God says, "Walk away," "Throw it out," or "Leave it behind," obedience may feel costly in the moment. But every act of surrender creates room for Him to pour in more of His presence, power, and purpose.

The question isn't whether God is speaking.

The question is: Will you say yes?

🕊️ Obedience is often the first step toward receiving more of God.
