I had my own notion of grief.
I thought it was the sad time, that followed the death of someone you love.
And you had to push through it to get to the other side.
But I’m learning, there is no other side...
There is no pushing through, but rather, there is absorption.
Adjustment.
Acceptance.
And grief is not something you complete, but rather, you endure.
Grief is not a task to finish, and move on, but an element of yourself – an alteration of your being.
A new way of seeing.
A new dimension of self...

Your Birthday is coming up. You would have been 29 this year. You have been gone from my sight for 2 1/2 years. I'm doing ok. I know where you reside and I'm with you in spirit. This is what gets me through, knowing the truth of what life's purpose is. I'm just sad it took me 58 years to remember who I really am. And you are that same ONE with me.

Love you so much. I can look at your pictures but if I look too long I sink in a hole that is overwhelming and the pain starts building. So I stay where it's safe. I'll take baby steps toward you my love. Thank you for the wonderful personality you brought. See you in a tiny tick of time. Love Momma
