Dare to Discipline! by Dr. Jeff Wiema
God calls you to love others enough to speak the truth when they are wandering from Him. Church discipline is not about punishment or control—it is an act of love aimed at restoration and salvation. Ignoring serious, ongoing sin harms not only the person involved but also the health and witness of the whole church. Because God disciplines those He loves, you are called to reflect that same love with humility, courage, and grace. The goal is never condemnation, but repentance, healing, and the joy of seeing a brother or sister restored to Christ.

All You Need Is Love? by Dr. Jeff Wiema
As a Christian, you are called to hold both truth and love together. Love without truth becomes compromise, while truth without love becomes harshness. Because Jesus truly came in the flesh, He understands your struggles, sympathizes with your weaknesses, and redeems not only your soul but your whole person. Therefore, you are called to live as someone who speaks and lives the truth with genuine love, showing hospitality, compassion, and care for others while remaining firmly rooted in the gospel. The Christian life is not choosing between love and truth—it is faithfully practicing both in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Eight Rules for Applying God’s Law - by Dr. Walicord
God’s law is not a burden meant to earn your salvation—it is a reflection of His character and a guide for how to live as His redeemed child. True obedience goes deeper than outward actions; it reaches your heart, motives, and desires. Because Christ has fulfilled the law and changed your heart by grace, you can learn to delight in God’s commands rather than fear them. As you grow in love for Him, obedience becomes an expression of gratitude, drawing you into deeper fellowship with God and helping others see His goodness through your life.

Accursed! - by Dr. Walicord
The gospel is your lifeline, and it must never be mixed with human effort or religious performance. Christ has done everything necessary for your salvation, and any message that adds to His finished work leads you away from true freedom. You are called to hold firmly to the gospel of grace, test every teaching against Scripture, and care more about God’s approval than people’s approval. Following Christ may be costly, but His truth is worth defending and His grace is sufficient.

Exodus Before Sinai - by Pastor Walicord
God saved His people before He gave them His law. In the same way, your obedience does not earn God’s love—it flows from the grace He has already shown you in Christ. God’s commands are not burdens meant to crush you, but a guide for living faithfully and thankfully as His redeemed child. The law exposes your sin, points you to Christ, and then teaches you how to live in a way that reflects God’s holiness. True obedience grows out of gratitude, trust, and the transforming grace of the gospel.

Galatians: The Gospel Under Attack - by Pastor Walicord
Your salvation rests entirely on God’s grace through Christ, not on your ability to earn His favor. The gospel is not “grace plus effort,” but the finished work of Jesus on your behalf. Because of that, you are called to reject every form of self-righteousness and stand firm in the freedom and peace Christ has secured for you. God’s truth does not change, and your hope remains anchored in His unchanging grace.

What is God's Law? - by Pastor Sacha Walicord
God’s law is not your enemy; it is a gracious gift that reveals His character and shows you how to live in a way that pleases Him. Jesus fulfilled the law perfectly, not to set it aside, but to restore it as a guide for your life. The commandments cannot save you, but they do expose your sin, restrain evil, and direct you in thankful obedience. As you grow in grace, you are called to reject both legalism and lawlessness and to delight in God’s law as a joyful expression of your love for Him.

The Greatest Experience on Earth - by Pastor Sacha Walicord
True Christianity involves more than knowing the right doctrines or having assurance of salvation. God calls you to enjoy a real, joyful relationship with Him, where His love is experienced in your heart through the Holy Spirit. As you spend time with Him in Scripture and prayer, He produces genuine peace, joy, and love in your life. Avoid both cold intellectualism and emotion detached from truth. Instead, seek daily communion with God so that your knowledge of Him becomes a living experience that strengthens your faith and brings Him glory.

True Conversion - by Pastor Sacha Walicord
True conversion means more than feeling sorry for your sins. By God’s grace, you begin to hate sin because it dishonors Him, and you increasingly turn away from it. At the same time, the Holy Spirit gives you a growing joy in Christ and a sincere desire to live for God in obedience to His Word. This new life is not about outward religion or tradition, but about Christ transforming you from the inside out. As sin dies and Christ’s life becomes more evident in you, you can be assured that God is continuing His work of sanctification in your heart.

The Greatest Assurance on Earth - by Pastor Sacha Walicord
You can have real assurance of your salvation because it rests on Jesus Christ, not on your feelings or your performance. God’s Word, the Holy Spirit, and the growing evidence of His work in your life all testify that you belong to Him. Even when you struggle with sin, suffering, or seasons of doubt, your salvation is secure because Christ holds you fast. So fix your eyes on Him and strengthen your confidence through Scripture, prayer, the sacraments, and fellowship, trusting that God’s faithfulness will carry you safely home.
