First-Generation Fire
Reading: Acts 2:42-4

Devotional: The first church was established by first-generation Pentecostals who devoted themselves to prayer, fellowship, breaking bread, and giving. Their convictions were strong enough to face any persecution. They met secretly, marked meeting places with the sign of the fish, and refused to deny Christ even when it cost them everything. Today, many churches are filled with first-generation believers who need to understand their crucial role. Everything that happens in God’s house depends on those who pray, who establish convictions, and who refuse to compromise. Will you be part of the generation that brings revival? Establish yourself in prayer. Let Pentecost—the power of the Holy Ghost—become the most important thing in your life. The world is waiting to hear from us.

Prayer Focus: Spend time each day declaring your identity in Christ, asking for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, and interceding for the lost in your community. Refuse to accept anything less than God’s full vision for your life and church.

The Vision God Sees
Reading: Matthew 16:18-19; Luke 10:1

Devotional: Jesus declared that the gates of hell would not prevail against His church and gave us authority over all the power of the enemy. God has a vision for your community—a specific number of souls He sees as redeemed and filled with His Spirit. When God gives vision, He expects us to see what He sees. The spiritual haze of warfare may have blurred your vision, but God is bringing clarity. You must know what to say before the storm hits, or the storm will change what you say. Declare today: “We will have it!” Raise your level of expectation. Believe for the blind to see, the deaf to hear, the lame to walk, and entire cities to be set free through Jesus’ name.

Living with Conviction
Reading: Romans 12:1-2

Devotional: A belief is what you hold, but a conviction is what holds you. You can live contrary to what you believe, but you cannot live contrary to your convictions. Paul urges us not to conform to this world but to be transformed by renewing our minds. This transformation requires convictions strong enough to withstand persecution, temptation, and cultural pressure. The first-generation Pentecostals faced lions, burning stakes, and loss of everything they owned, yet they refused to deny Christ. What convictions anchor your life? Your home needs structure built on godly convictions. Your walk with Christ requires convictions that affect how you live daily. Today, establish in your heart what you will stand for, no matter the cost.
