UPCOMING EVENT 🎉

Mark your calendars for May 29-30!! We are changing things up and going to Silverwood late Spring right before summer officially hits. We have a team working on it who are planning a time of gathering, connecting and worship the night prior to our day at silverwood. This year we’ll be staying at Twinlow (housing for families and couples) and making this time more intentional for connection and worship before having a fun and thrilling day in the park 🙌🏼 Registration is now open! LAUNCHING THE WAY 2026

The way for the journey isn’t always clear or linear. This initiative journeys with young adults (18-30 years of age) as they engage in a process of discovery and discernment within a supportive and empowering environment of certified coaches and mentors. Launching Fall 2026, young adults will spend eight months discerning their purpose, calling and what’s next in life as they meet with a certified coach and a chosen mentor. A calling guide will ignite conversation between young adults and their mentors. Coaches will help young adults discover within themselves how God has called them, gifted them and is leading them; coaches will also help young adults determine goals and offer accountability.

Our 2026-2027 cohort will be limited to 5 young adults. Applications will open June 1st at nwnyi.com/youngadults and the program will run September 2026 - May 2027. Cost is $150 and includes eight months of one-on-one personal coaching and development, a calling guide and book. Stay tuned for the rollout June 1st!

NEWS!! 🎉 Mark your calendars and join our in Grandview, WA March 14th from 8:30am - 4ishpm! This year young adults (18-30) are invited to attend Breakthrough on Saturday for the nyi convention and join in on the service projects happening around Yakima schools and the YUGM! Meetup with other young adults after the service project to debrief and spend time together. Register as an adult attendee at nwnyi.com/breakthrough (cost is $20) and email [email protected] to let them know you’re a Saturday only attendee. Hope to see you there!

If you haven’t been or don’t know much about it, this is a low-key event for young adults (18-30 yo) across the district to come together, hang out, have fun, and continue to build this community on the Northwest District! We would LOVE to see you and your young adults at Silverwood this year!! Please help us spread the word and get this info out! ALSO, if you have anymore questions, feel free to reach out!

WHERE: Silverwood Theme Park, Athol, ID
WHEN: Saturday, August 9 (overnight option at CDA Naz Aug 8 and Aug 9 - we encourage you to stay overnight if possible and worship with CDA Naz on Sunday morning).
COST: $80 (price includes park ticket and an all you can eat dinner in the park, plus overnight stay at CDA NAZ and continental breakfast Saturday and Sunday).

YA TAKEOVER đź«Ž NWNYI SUMMER CAMP

Were you with us last week at summer camp?! We had over 80 seniors, high school grads and young adults join us for our young adult takeover at Moose Lodge!! It was by far the largest takeover yet! So fun getting to connect with so many up and coming young adults! We’re excited to have you join us for future events and opportunities for community, fellowship, worship and discipleship on the district! 🤩 HS grads are welcome to join us for our Silverwood trip coming up August 9th! 🔗 in bio.
