Making the most of Our Life
Sermon notes:
God’s heart is not to reject you but to redirect you into the abundant life Jesus promised in John 10:10.
• Small, ignored issues (“little foxes”) and a resistant heart toward correction can misfire your spiritual life like neglected spark plugs and lifters in an engine.
• Correction is like GPS: when you receive it, your life becomes an example to others; when you refuse it, your life becomes a warning.
• The longer you delay responding to God’s correction, the more it costs you—time, energy, influence, relationships, opportunities, and peace.
• Pride is the real enemy of correction; humility opens the door to wisdom.
• God’s discipline is proof of His love, not His rejection; He corrects those He delights in.
• Wisdom is born where humility meets correction: ask, read, and receive.
