My Morning Thought
I have found that as I stay focussed on God’s will for my life I stay much more focussed on what is right and wrong. In today’s society it seems to be so much more on what is right for self and what is right or wrong is what makes one feel good with no consideration of morals or ethics.

My Morning Thought
We can become so doubtful of God’s graces and His will for us in our life because we desire our will and our self-fulfillment so strongly. We want peace and comfort instead of suffering, we want financial stability, and personal control of our lives. Salvation and the idea of the life everlasting with Him is so overpowered by what we want to experience in the here and now. Each day is an opportunity to experience His presence in this life and the peace it brings.

Love is such a beautiful thing. As young teenagers we are attracted to others by looks or personality but as we grow older it is much more about being with someone who shares your ideas and dreams. Then as we get gray hair and have grand children it is all about family. The true blessing is when you have been through all these changes with the one you were attracted to as a teenager.

Farmers to Families Food Box Program (05-29-20)

In partnership with Eastern Oklahoma Catholic Charities the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church of Cushing, is hosting a food distribution event beginning next Saturday, June 6, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., at Cushing High School. The event will be setup near the field house for easy service to those coming to be served.

What is even better? This will take place EVERY Saturday during the month of June! What a way to your neighbor!

This will be a drive-thru event so those needing food assistance will not have to get out of their car. Food boxes with produce and dairy will be available while supplies last.

Thanks to our community partner, Cushing Public Schools, for providing their facility to host this event. !
