Our Knights of Columbus members had donuts with our students this morning to celebrate the ending of our can collection competition. Our Pre-K through 1st grade class won the competition but all students were able to celebrate raising money to help our Helping Hands Project.

We are still collecting items for this project and accepting sign ups for our Lenten Service Project. If you are in need of one of these boxes, please fill out the following Google form. Our goal is to give these to 40 area families. There are NO income guidelines for those who would like a box, we just want to help anyone who could use a helping hand. Please share to help us get the word out!

We are midway through collecting items for our Helping Hands Blessing Boxes. If you are looking for a way to help area famlies in need, there are lots of tags left at St. Timothy Social Hall, the back of St. Bonaventure, and at the entrance of St. Timothy Preschool. Items we are collecting are not typically given to those in need. These items help to alleviate the worry for those on a limited income who sometimes must choose between feeding their families or buying needed cleaning, household, or hygiene items. We woud like to thank you for all of the support!

As we enter the sacred season of Lent, we are invited into a time of renewal, reflection, and a deeper commitment to Christ. Lent calls us to return to the heart of our faith through the three pillars of this holy season: prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.

🙏 Prayer draws us closer to God. Through Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, the Rosary, Scripture reading, and quiet personal reflection, we open our hearts to hear His voice more clearly.

🍞 Fasting helps us detach from worldly comforts and unite our sacrifices to Christ’s own sacrifice. By giving up something meaningful, we create space for spiritual growth and greater reliance on God.

🤝 Almsgiving calls us to put love into action. It is a concrete expression of mercy — caring for those most in need and recognizing Christ in the poor and vulnerable.

This Lent, our Faith Formation family will focus especially on the pillar of almsgiving through our Lenten Service Project, "Helping Hands". We invite you to prayerfully consider donating to support our project in creating blessing boxes for those in need throughout our community. Your generosity through donations of personal hygiene products, cleaning supplies, and paper products becomes a powerful sign of hope and compassion.

As it says in the Gospel of Gospel of Matthew, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” May we answer this call with open hearts.

Let us journey together this Lent — growing in prayer, strengthened by fasting, and transformed through acts of charity. Thank you for being a living witness of Christ’s love in our community. ✝️

"We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love." - St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta
