Gospel Partnership

"I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.". -Philippians 1:3-6

Doxa Church is so thankful for our sending church, Grace Fellowship of South Forsyth , and the partnership we have in the gospel. We both exist to make disciples of Jesus here in this community and we praise God for love, support, prayers, and partnership as we go forth.

"In this gospel the Church is one, we do not walk alone. We have His Spirit as we press on, to lead us safely home." 'One Gospel', City Alight

God Provides
"Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord."
1 Corinthians 1:31

God loves to work in mysterious ways to make Himself known. He always provides what we need in His timing - for His glory and our good. He is making us more like Jesus all along the way, even in unexpected ways! It's been a blessing to glean such wisdom from the book of John preaching series.

Come join us as we glorify Jesus together, Sundays at 9:30am.

John 21:12-13

"Jesus said to them, 'Come and have breakfast.' Now none of the disciples dared ask him, 'Who are you?' They knew it was the Lord. Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and so with the fish."

Jesus appeared to his disciples after His resurrection and provided for them unexpectedly and abundantly! Jesus invited His disciples to come sit and eat with Him, to be near and be at rest....their natural response, "IT IS THE LORD!"

God cares for us and provides for us; we can trust Him for all our needs.Join us as we finish our series in the book of John verse by verse.

🗣️ Pillar 3: Live Exposition

"For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart." -Hebrews 4:12-13

Defining Expository Preaching: "Unfolding the text of Scripture in such a way that makes contact with the listener's world while exalting Christ and confronting them with the need for action." -Alistair Begg

At DOXA Church, we unite around Jesus and follow His Word. We listen to the Word preached in person each week and help each other live it out together. Come join us!

🌿 Holy Week begins today with Palm Sunday remembering Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Hosanna to the Humble King.
🙏🏼 Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are generally days of contemplation and prayer, reflecting on Jesus’ ministry, last days, and especially of His divine humility.
💞 Maundy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper Jesus had with his disciples where Jesus humbly washed their feet. The word “maundy” comes from the Latin mandatum, meaning “command” or “instruction.” During the meal, Jesus gives a new command: His followers are to love one another like He has loved them, with humble, sacrificial love.
✝️ Good Friday is often a day centered on Jesus’ suffering and atoning death. The centrality of the cross animates our Christian faith and Jesus' death on the cross triumphs over the curse of sin and death.
🪨 Holy Saturday, sometimes called Silent Saturday, holds the tension of the two main events: the cross and the resurrection. Between those events lies the stillness of a crucified, buried Savior: a pause in which Heaven and earth seem to have held their breath.
✨ Finally, Holy Week culminates with Easter, Resurrection Sunday, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus! "Death is swallowed up in victory!" Jesus conquered death and gave us new life in Him.
