TLR meets most Wednesday nights at 6:30PM.

It's a gathering of college students and college-age adults from the North Georgia area who come together to experience community, engage in worship, and hear teaching specific to their unique season of life.

Last night we kicked off week one of “Rizz, Roses & Red Flags.”

Jake asked us to think about two questions…

1. Why do you want to date?
2. Are you dateable?

We tend to look to dating to get what dating was never meant to give. We have the “what’s in it for me” kind of love.

1 Corinthians 13:4-5 guides us to the “what can I give” kind of love.

Stop looking for the right person, and instead start becoming the right person.

“Jesus wants to use your life to transform the lives of others.”

Another Wednesday night in the books! Lauren led us through John 6:5-11 when Jesus feeds the 5,000. Just like Jesus served and impacted the lives of others, He can use us in the same way too if we let Him! All we have to do is continue to be faithful, and lean on Him for guidance.

We also got the opportunity to hear from some incredible individuals about all the ways you can help serve in one of our environments at Browns Bridge! If you missed last night or one of the interest meetings, no worries! We will post a story later today with more information for you on how to serve and where to go!

We love you guys and reminder that there is NO TLR NEXT WEEK.

Last night, Jake took us through Galatians 4 and talked about the game of comparison.

Jake asked us to truthfully ask ourselves this question…

He then encouraged us with 3 things to think about when we find ourselves in the trap of comparison.

1. Acknowledge your adoption
2. Be real about your _____
3. Choose to celebrate
