Here's something true of a campfire: a single coal, pulled out and set off by itself, doesn't stay hot for long. It cools fast, alone. But push it back into the pile, surrounded by the others, and it glows bright again.
That's not just physics — it's us.
Hebrews 10 tells us to keep gathering, to keep stirring each other up toward love and good works, because we were never meant to burn alone. Faith isn't meant to be a solo flame. It's meant to be shared warmth — encouraged, fed, and kept alive by the people around us.
Maybe you've been the coal off to the side lately. Distant from community, cooling off without quite meaning to. Today — National Day of Encouragement — is as good a day as any to come back to the fire. We'd love to have you with us this Sunday.
