“And after this Joseph of Arimathæa, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus. And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight. Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.”
‭‭John‬ ‭19‬:‭38‬-‭40‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27‬:‭59‬-‭60‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Joseph of Arimathæa And Nicodemus talked to Pilate asking for the body of Jesus. They desired to make sure he was properly buried. While Jesus laid in the tomb his disciples were scattered, afraid and grieving. Feeling like all hope was gone. In the times you feel that you are alone and have reached the end of your rope, just remember that Jesus is still working even in quiet times.

“for as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭12‬:‭40‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Do not loose hope

“For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭30‬:‭5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people, said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭23‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them. But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go. And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭23‬:‭20‬-‭23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭23‬:‭33‬-‭35‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour. And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭23‬:‭44‬-‭46‬ ‭KJV‬‬
