This is Nathan, and this is his testimony….

In 2021, doctors discovered a cancerous and completely infected Baker’s cyst behind Nathan’s knee. In January of this year, Nathan and his wife, Kathryn, attended Local on a Sunday morning. That very day, Nathan encountered the Holy Spirit in an Aldi parking lot and surrendered his life to Jesus….

In July, Nathan underwent surgery to remove the cancerous cyst, which resulted in the amputation of part of his leg. Today, Nathan is completely healed and cancer-free! He has publicly professed his love for Jesus & testified to all what the Lord has done in his life!

Nathan and Kathryn were both baptized on Sunday, September 20, 2026!

May they continue to boldly share the good news of Jesus and testify to just how far our King Jesus has brought them. What a testimony of surrender, redemption, healing, and new life in Christ.

September 20th, Baptism Sunday! A Sunday we will never forget! We are so proud of everyone who took this leap of faith and publicly professed their love and adoration for KING JESUS!

What a beautiful picture of lives being transformed, stories being redeemed, & people choosing to FULLY FOLLOW JESUS publicly. You are saved, you are free, you are made new, and you are walking in freedom in Jesus’ name!

UNLESS THE LORD

As you’ve seen in the video, we’ve been getting a lot of questions about the Unless The Lord building campaign, so we wanted to share a little more!

We would love for you to prayerfully partner with us in what God is doing through Local Church. Yes, the building will be right here, in our current location, as we expand and create more space for God to move.

So, when can you start giving? Now, or whenever the Lord prompts your heart. We believe this is something we get to do together, trusting God every step of the way.

And you’re probably wondering, “When are we going to break ground?”
We’ll break ground when the Lord provides all the resources we need. Until then, we’re going to keep praying, giving, trusting, and building together.

Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.

As Pastor Chris mentioned this past Sunday in his message, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Philippians 4:6 NLT

We can actively choose to add biblical filters to our lives that help us cut through the noise, pursue holiness, and make room for all that God is calling us to. And when we come to God in prayer, we can begin with THANKSGIVING. Before we ask Him for what we need, we can remember who He is and thank Him for all He has already done.

It goes into the hands of our Prayer Team, and then it makes its way to Monday Night Prayer…..

Every Monday, those who gather for prayer have the opportunity to pray over the prayer requests submitted by our church family. They are covered in prayer, covered by the blood of Jesus, & lifted high in faith before the Lord.

Your prayer request doesn’t just sit in a form. It is prayed over. It is carried by your church family. It is brought before Jesus.

We believe in the power of prayer, and we would love to pray with you.
