What if your friendships weren't meant to be exclusive, but expansive? Jesus challenges us in Luke 14 to rethink how we gather and who we invite. He's not asking us to abandon our close friends, but to invite WITH them.
You're rich in something. Maybe it's time, a skill, children, a possession, or even the ability to bake a mean casserole. Someone else is poor in exactly what you have. That's how God's kingdom works. We don't hoard our blessings or only invite people who can repay us. We share our riches with those who need them most.
