A message from the Hightower Baptist Association Food & Clothing Bank:

WOW.... what a year.... We are still serving those in need at the clothing bank with drive thru service. Thanks to all of our volunteers we have found a way to service most of their needs without them having to get out of their cars. That being said we will be so glad when it is safe to let everyone back in the building. We have endured rain, hot, cold, mud and many other obstacles during this unprecedented time.

Last Saturday we served over 455 families. We are in URGENT NEED of kids and women's coats, blankets and comforters at this time. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Someone is there taking in donations Monday- Friday. Please remember us when you pray.

Association Meeting Announcement

Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 9:00 am at Hightower Baptist Church will be the 185th meeting of the Association. With that being said, many changes have been made to follow the social distancing guidelines during the COVID – 19 pandemic.

It is ask that you follow the guidelines that were sent out by the Executive Committee back in July. They include, but are not limited to, only one delegate and pastor (or one ordained minister in place of pastor) from each church, no visiting ministries are invited to speak, all committee reports are to be submitted to the clerk the day before the meeting and the clerk and assitant clerk will read the reports at the meeting.

Also, as a reminder, Chris Cranford will be out front of Hightower Church, collecting the gift cards, checks or cash for the “Load the Truck” for The Georgia Baptist Children’s Home.

The Hightower Food & Clothing Bank in desperate need for shampoo before Saturday. Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated. You can drop off in the donation building or see Kevin during the day. Thanks for your support!
