Our Fall Revival will be August 23 - 26. Jonathon Woodworth will be presenting a Study in Daniel. Jonathon is the son of one of our pastors, Bro. Bob Woodworth. Jonathon, his wife Becky, and their 5 children are missionaries in Africa. We invite everyone to attend. Fellowship will follow the services each week night.

Revelation 3
1 “Write this letter to the angel of the church in Sardis. This is the message from the one who has the sevenfold Spirit of God and the seven stars:

“I know all the things you do, and that you have a reputation for being alive—but you are dead. 2 Wake up! Strengthen what little remains, for even what is left is almost dead. I find that your actions do not meet the requirements of my God. 3 Go back to what you heard and believed at first; hold to it firmly. Repent and turn to me again. If you don’t wake up, I will come to you suddenly, as unexpected as a thief.

4 “Yet there are some in the church in Sardis who have not soiled their clothes with evil. They will walk with me in white, for they are worthy. 5 All who are victorious will be clothed in white. I will never erase their names from the Book of Life, but I will announce before my Father and his angels that they are mine.

6 “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches.

This is my final message as the interim pastor of Mt Zion church. We have enjoyed the past 7 years of ministering here, teaching and then taking on the interim pastor role for the past 6-8 months.

God has put a particular ministry burden on my heart that we must prayerfully pursue. We love the people here and you will always remain close to our hearts. God bless you.

So nice to see the new roof on Zion Baptist School in Bluefields Nicaragua. This is a lot taller and the school is so much brighter inside. Pastor Eli and Director Jorge Ignacio Frias Boden have done a great job on this project.

They have made really good progress, but have more work to be done.

We have received $3400 so far for the school roof project. They have not only put a new roof on the school, but they have also added a second floor in the process. Praise God.
