Join us as we come together to honor and celebrate our beloved Pastor, the Reverend Dr. Christopher Harris. This special day is dedicated to recognizing his unwavering faith, tireless dedication, and powerful leadership.

In 2015, Pastor Harris founded Imperfect People Ministries, a sanctuary built on love, authenticity, and healing. Since its inception, the ministry has been a beacon of hope for countless souls, and it continues to thrive under his visionary guidance.

Despite facing tremendous personal battles—enduring the daily challenges of lupus and kidney failure—Pastor Harris has never wavered. He has continued to preach, lead, and inspire with a strength that can only be described as God-given. His journey is not just one of survival, but of purpose, passion, and divine perseverance.

We invite you to join us on this day to show our deepest gratitude and appreciation for a man who embodies what it means to walk by faith and not by sight.

Dear IPM Family and Friends,

After much prayer and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to reschedule our 10th Anniversary Celebration. Our beloved Pastor, Rev. Christopher Harris is currently facing severe health challenges and we feel it is only right to hold off on such an important milestone until he is able to be with us.

Pastor Harris has been an integral part of IPM since 2015, and his leadership has been foundational in our growth and success. We ask that you continue to lift him up in your prayers during this challenging time. His strength and recovery are of utmost importance to us and we trust that God’s grace will carry him through.

The new date will be April 27th at 2PM. We appreciate your understanding, love, and continued prayers.

We’re celebrating 10 amazing years at Imperfect People Ministries, and we want YOU to be a part of it! 🙌 Join us on March 9th, 2025 at 2 PM for an unforgettable service in our sanctuary at 637 Cartersville Rd., Cumberland, VA.

This special day is all about honoring God, celebrating our journey, and recognizing one of our very own—Pastor Christopher Harris—for his unwavering dedication and leadership over the years. 🙏💪

But that’s not all! The celebration continues with:

Happy Black History Month! ✊🏽✨As we celebrate the incredible legacy and contributions of Black men and women throughout history, let’s also honor the faith, strength, and resilience that have shaped our community. From the Civil Rights Movement to the faith of our ancestors, we are reminded that God’s hand has been evident in every step of the journey. 🙏🏽💖This month, let’s reflect on the powerful role of faith in overcoming adversity and continue to lift each other up in the love and unity that Christ calls us to. As we celebrate our history, let’s also look forward to the future, trusting that God has great things ahead for us.

🎉 Spotlight Friday: Deacon Xavier Franklin 🎉

This week’s Spotlight Friday is shining on none other than Deacon Xavier Franklin! 💥 Xavier is hands down one of the hardest-working, most dedicated, and all-around amazing youth we have at Imperfect People Ministries. From leading worship almost every Sunday to helping with offering, ushering, and making sure the church is open or closed—Xavier is always ON. 🔥

Oh, and let’s not forget his very important role as Pastor Harris’s Armor Bearer. This guy never leaves Pastor’s side, making sure he’s covered in more ways than one. Seriously, if Pastor Harris had to take a Sunday off, we’re pretty sure Deacon Xavier could run the entire service without breaking a sweat. 😎

Xavier always says, “Uncle Chris, this is too much,” but somehow he still manages to go above and beyond every single time. His heart for God, his hard work, and his commitment to IPM are EVERYTHING. 🙌

We are SO grateful to have Xavier as part of our church family. His passion, energy, and servant’s heart make him a true blessing to our ministry! ✝️
