The 154th Annual General Membership Meeting of the Union Grove Campmeeting Association is set for Saturday, August 22, 2026. The event will take place at the picnic area and in the Tabernacle at 13320 Mason Road, N.E., Cumberland.
The fellowship picnic will begin at noon, and members and guests are asked to bring a vegetable, a salad, or a dessert as a side dish.
Gospel Music will be provided by the praise team of Bethany House of the Lord.
The business meeting will begin about 1:30, and the members will vote on a ballot to elect four of the twelve Trustees to three-year terms, and there will be a vote on a proposed revision of the Constitution.
In the most recent Trustees' meeting, there was a change in some positions, with David Lindsay, Jr., being named a Trustee; Linda Gordon was appointed the new Events Secretary, and Jeremiah Mudge was appointed the new Membership Secretary.
Union Grove Campmeeting Association is the oldest civic organization in Allegany County still serving its original purpose, having been chartered in 1833 and incorporated in 1873.
