Update: I asked you all to pray for this lady in early April.
I wanted to let you know that she came to the monthly pancake breakfast this morning.
We were glad to see her again and she shared that she has been sober for 30 days.

I reminded her of some truths from the Bible and prayed for her as she left.
Please continue to pray for her.

"Will you join us in praying for a lady who walked into the ministry building needing some care items as she's entering a recovery program tomorrow.

I did share the gospel with her but she wasn't ready to make a decision.

Please pray that she will come to know Christ as her personal savior."

Mondays are when I typically catch up on office work at home.
This could be correspondence with mission teams and other ministry partners, planning ahead for three to six months at a time, sending out letters, or handling financial matters.
Every day, Todd and I pray that God will bless and supply for the needs of Kentucky Sacks of Love and that we are having a gospel impact on the community.

And an element of the planning involves using the resources God has so kindly provided us with responsibly.
Will you pray for our board of officers and us while we plan ahead .
Pray that we will rely on God's wisdom and be sensitive to His guidance.

Kentucky Sacks of Love Ministry Update

The Mission of Kentucky is to reconcile hurting people to God, family, and community through the power of Christ in partnership with the local church. We do this through meeting physical needs and offering free community classes.

What’s New: We have a praise to share with you. God has graciously provided all the money that KSOL needed to purchase the ministry building we have been using. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for, given to, or joined in what God is doing in through Kentucky Sacks of Love.

A new Bible study class started at the end of March for ladies in the community. The goal was to help new believers, the unchurched, or those who had desired to learn more about the Bible. Participants earn points for attending classes and then can spend them in the Free Store. Each class is taught with Biblical material and includes a prayer time.
Every person that walks through the doors of Kentucky Sacks of Love’s Ministry building is prayed for whether it is for a community class, pancake breakfast, or to get a hygiene care kit.

As the school year is finishing, I wanted to share that through the generous donations from you, our partners, we gave away over seventy-five pairs of leggings and jogging pants, multiple bottles of hygiene products and a variety of school supplies. These items are given to the Family Resource Coordinators as needs arise. We are grateful for our ministry partners and how they help us reach children and their families by helping meet physical needs so that we can share about Jesus.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed for and donated to Kentucky Sacks of Love so that we can continue to minister to families and individuals in Harlan County and offer these classes.

Ways to Give:
We fully rely on donations to keep ministering. It costs approximately $800.00 a month to keep the ministry building open and available for ministry.
