Kentucky Sacks of Love Ministry Update
The Mission of Kentucky is to reconcile hurting people to God, family, and community through the power of Christ in partnership with the local church. We do this through meeting physical needs and offering free community classes.
What’s New: We have a praise to share with you. God has graciously provided all the money that KSOL needed to purchase the ministry building we have been using. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for, given to, or joined in what God is doing in through Kentucky Sacks of Love.
A new Bible study class started at the end of March for ladies in the community. The goal was to help new believers, the unchurched, or those who had desired to learn more about the Bible. Participants earn points for attending classes and then can spend them in the Free Store. Each class is taught with Biblical material and includes a prayer time.
Every person that walks through the doors of Kentucky Sacks of Love’s Ministry building is prayed for whether it is for a community class, pancake breakfast, or to get a hygiene care kit.
As the school year is finishing, I wanted to share that through the generous donations from you, our partners, we gave away over seventy-five pairs of leggings and jogging pants, multiple bottles of hygiene products and a variety of school supplies. These items are given to the Family Resource Coordinators as needs arise. We are grateful for our ministry partners and how they help us reach children and their families by helping meet physical needs so that we can share about Jesus.
Thank you to everyone who has prayed for and donated to Kentucky Sacks of Love so that we can continue to minister to families and individuals in Harlan County and offer these classes.
Ways to Give:
We fully rely on donations to keep ministering. It costs approximately $800.00 a month to keep the ministry building open and available for ministry.
