We're thrilled to welcome special guest preacher the Rev. Mike Kinman this Sunday at Thad's for Pentecost. All are welcome! Here is some more info on his work and ministry:

The Rev. Mike Kinman is a writer, preacher, abolitionist and Thistle Farmer. Seeking and following the Revolutionary Jesus where he finds them. Aspiring to courage. Trying to be curious, not judgmental.

Mike was shaped as a pastor and priest by the students of Rockwell House Episcopal Campus Ministry at Washington University, which he helped found in the early 2000s, and by the young, black, q***r activists who led the Ferguson Uprising in 2014-15. In addition to being the chaplain at Rockwell House, he has served as the Executive Director of Episcopalians for Global Reconciliation, an organization committed to working together around the world to eliminate global extreme poverty. He then served as Dean of Christ Church Cathedral in St. Louis and eight years as rector of All Saints Church in Pasadena.

For most of the past 30 years, Mike has been a supporter of Thistle Farms, a nonprofit social enterprise dedicated to helping women survivors recover and heal from prostitution, trafficking and addiction through providing a safe place to live, a meaningful job, and a lifelong sisterhood of support. He serves on the Thistle Farms Global Advisory Council, helping connect women’s justice enterprises around the globe using a friendship-first model of shared trade, which allows women to build economic power and community.

Jon Dephouse; along with crafts, games, and an Easter Egg hunt for the Thadito’s. All are welcome!
