This one is magic for Disney lovers of all ages! Our younger members and families kick us off with a tot service & carnival at 4:30pm. At 6:30pm, we offer our adult Shabbat service with a Disney spin, and an opportunity for karaoke at oneg.

If you’re attending our carnival, you know we welcome TWO beloved Disney characters as guests… but who is coming this year???

We hired the Jolly Green Giant to help us grow GIGANTIC flowers for our Friendship Celebration Gala on May 30… and some of the blossoms have arrived in the Temple foyer! Check this out! It’s a beautiful reminder of how friendships blossom at Temple Akiba. 🌺

🧀 SHAVUOT IS APPROACHING 📚

Lovers of dairy & spiritual learning, rejoice! Your favorite holiday is nearly here… and we are hosting a beautiful evening in collaboration with our friends from Temple Emanuel.

We kick off with wine & cheese, commence to learning & prayer, and end with classic Shavuot sweets with all our new friends. 🍷🧀📚🍰🙋🏻‍♀️

Do you ever just want to shout it out from the mountaintops… I’m so blessed to be your friend!!? Well here is your chance. 🏔️

Put it in our Friendship Tribute Book. Words of celebration & gratitude in honor of our clergy’s epic 20 year friendship… words of joy & love for your own Akiba tribe… all are welcome. Shout it out! Tell your people how you feel!

🗣️ CONGREGATIONAL MEETING 🗣️

If you joined us last year, you know this is an absolutely wonderful morning! We gather for a big beautiful breakfast buffet, including bagels and pastries of all kinds, fruit, cheese & hard boiled eggs, and a Greek yogurt bar with all sorts of toppings. (We know how to party, for sure 😉)

Then we talk business! We reflect on our past year, celebrate some amazing wins, and vision for the future. It’s not a congregational meeting unless you’re all there! Mark your calendars for this important Akiba family breakfast.
