Senior Dana Deliveries- Yesterday was our Senior Dana Delivery day- our tremendous volunteers provided our seniors with a delicious bento, a brain puzzle book, a Tech Tip information sheet from our Girl Scout Aliya Asher, and some sweet treats from VJCC Senior Nutrition.

Special thanks to the Dharma School for preparing the bags, to our delivery volunteers and to the Keiro Grants Program for allowing us to continue to provide our 120 (or so) community seniors with a bit of joy and goodies.

In September, our Girl Scout Troop 5325 will be sending cards to our Keiro members and friends in celebration of Keiro No Hi.

Join us on Friday, September 18th at 1PM for a seminar on Healthy Eating for Seniors presented by Registered Dietician Chelsea Fujitaki. Learn how to meal plan, get some ideas on healthier meals, and even how to cook for just one or two;

Refreshments will be served, and admission is free, funded by the Keiro Grants Program and the VHBT Keiro Committee.

Our temple-sponsored Culver Cub Pack 79 is having their Kick-off Meeting on Sunday, August 30, from 1:30-3:30pm. The Pack welcomes boys and girls from Kindergarten up through 5th grade to come check them out.

ABA MEMORIAL SERVICE FRIDAY AUGUST 22nd AT 10AM. Please join us this Friday for our annual Adult Buddhist Association Memorial Service, where we remember all of our past ABA members who have passed away. Guest speaker will be our former resident minister, Rev. George Matsubayashi.
