Happy Valentine’s Day TBC Family. Remember that the Love of God is so much greater than any love! God is love and today we celebrate the love God has for us and the love of a father sending His son to be the sacrifice for sin as every human being needs. What a true expression of love from the Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

We hope you will join us tomorrow!

Good evening TBC,

Despite the cold temperatures and many places where snow and ice still covers the roads, at TBC it is warm and cozy in the church building and the parking lots are clear! I am so thankful to those that have helped ensure that we can have church tomorrow! We hope you will join us tomorrow for our services at 10 and 11 a.m. and we are planning for our evening activities and services as well at this time. Come out and share with us in Bible study, worship and conversations!

Good evening TBC,

Throughout the week and now as we approach the weekend, there seemed to be a consistent theme of discussion this week. A winter storm is brewing! At this moment, we have not made a final decision for Sunday but we plan to make a decision by end of day tomorrow. Continue praying for the potential impact as well be in contact with those in your circle of influence and check to ensure needs met or being prepared. This could be historic with the snow and cold and preparing is necessary! I want to thank those that have been at the church this week preparing the church in the event of a significant storm and power outages. Please let us know if you have needs that can be met tomorrow. We are at the 24 hour mark of when the impact of winter weather could be in our area. We have time but not a lot of time remaining to assist with needs.

One item I want to remind us of this weekend is, Trust in God. God does not fail us, He wants good for us, He is faithful and ready to provide us the wisdom we need as we ask. Remember who it is that loves us and my hope is that you whole heartedly love Him as well; Jesus Christ our King, our Lord, our Risen Savior, our Example! And the Holy Spirit as our Paraclete meaning our Power, Comforter, Advocate, Guide, Intercessor and Teacher. As we trust in God each moment and day, He is the author of our steps, He wants to hear from us and wants us to be more interested and engaged with Him than anything else. God desires for us to be dependent on Him and as He gives us guidance for us to act of it. Just as you have heard, love is best shown through action. As we love and trust in God, He wants us to love and trust Him in all things and for all things. God has given us the strength to follow Him. On Sunday, we discussed Eph. 4:23 that reminds us that it is necessary every day to renew our minds and to stay focused on God’s plan. And, 1 Cor. 10:13 that reminds us that God always provides a way of escape for us in every temptation.

As we prepare for this weekend, stay present, stay engaged and stay ready. If you have needs please let us know.

In Christ,
Pastor Ethan

Good evening TBC,

What do you have today to be thankful for? What about the rain, coffee you drank, food, electricity, clothes, clean water, family, friendships, clean socks, a toothbrush, heat… seriously, we have so much to be thankful for everyday. I also know that Satan would love to disrupt your day with anything that can move you further away from God. Many times in scripture we see a host of people that are thankful. And today, in this moment, I hope you can think of a few things to be thankful for like God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Thankful for the Bible that gives us the truth of History, for the Present and for our future.

I want to invite you out tomorrow to come and be together for Bible study and worship. We have various times tomorrow and hope you will take time to be together with us. 10 a.m. Bible Study and 11 a.m. Worship as well as Team Kid and 412 Youth at 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. for the Evening Worship. See you tomorrow.

Strive for Mastery,
Pastor Ethan and Beth

Happy New Year TBC,

God is good all the time and All the time God is good. 2025 has been a year of blessings and challenges as we have grown together as a church and looked to the Holy Spirit for wisdom, guidance and strength.

I want to thank Pastor Neal Warner for his faithful years of service to TBC and ask you to pray for Neal and Lu as they make their transition back home to WV in the coming weeks. Please continue to pray for Neal and Lu with their health challenges.

Thank you TBC for the opportunity for Beth and I to step into the new role at TBC and I am so blessed to be your Lead Pastor. And as we begin 2026, I am so excited that we have our Student Pastor Lee and Katy Ashcraft positioned to lead with 412 Youth and serving together with our church board. Pray with us as we continue to pursue the Holy Spirit’s purpose and plan with TBC in 2026!

As we move into 2026, I want to briefly share a passage of scripture and ask you to read over it and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you with it. We will be opening 2026 with this passage and look forward to studying this passge with you on Sunday.

“Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: but I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭24‬-‭27‬ ‭

Happy New Year,
Pastor Ethan and Beth

Good Afternoon TBC,

Merry Christmas church family! Have a wonderful day as you celebrate and stay in the present. Praying for you as Christmas is often a time we remember family and friends who are celebrating Jesus every moment in Heaven. We love you church and hope today can be a day to remember one of the most important historical events.

“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” Isaiah‬ ‭7‬:‭14‬

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬

“Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭15‬

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭23‬

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬ ‭

Merry Christmas,
Pastor Ethan
