MS & HS Youth are invited to attend The Radix Youth Ministry Kick-Off "Sundae Night Live" TONIGHT, Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 6 pm to 8 pm in the Parish Hall at Precious Blood Catholic Church. Youth do not have to be Catholic to attend.

Join us for ice cream sundaes, games, faith and fun. Come learn something new about St. Teresa of Calcutta, our newest Saint.

Thank-you to everyone that helped in some way for our Sub Sandwich sale. Whether you helped make subs, sell subs, purchased subs OR made a donation, you played a major role in our success. We raised enough money to cover our expenses to high school rally! Middle School Game night is this Friday in the Annex from 6:00 to 7:30. Bring a board game and snack to share! See you then.

Thank-you to all the Middle School RADIX members that attended the Pizza Party. Hope you had fun! Hope to see you Sunday, Oct. 5th with HS RADIX from 2:00pm to 3:30pm for Precious Blood's Lifechain, rain or shine. You do not have to stay the entire time, come for as long as you can. We will hold life affirming pro-life signs and pray silently while we are there. We will meet on the grassy area in front of Walmart. Bring a lawn chair/water bottle if you'd like.

Parents, grandparents and siblings welcome! Please keep in mind that his is a time of silent prayer. Still looking for help after all masses this weekend in our Sub Sandwich Presale. Need volunteers to collect forms and take sub money. We will make subs, Sat. Oct. 11th at 10:00am in the parish hall. We will also need help after all masses the weekend of Oct.11 & Oct. 12 handing out subs and collecting money. PLEASE email or call me or comment below if you can help! Thanks.

Hey PBCC and Epiphany Friends....RADIX High School Youth Ministry Hour is a brand new offering this year, replacing traditional HS CCD. Join us on Sundays from 9:30 to 10:45 in the Annex starting this Sunday. We will sharing food, fellowship and fun while discussing topics relevant to your life journey. This is one facet of RADIX Youth Ministry. Please see the bulletin this week for a flyer listing Sept. and Oct. gatherings and events for both HS and MS (grades 6-8). HS Rally is an awesome experience and will take place Sunday, Oct. 19th at Marymount University. Bands, Speakers, Inflatables and Food. HS must register by Oct. 6. Don't miss out on this awesome event. RADIX Middle School PIZZA PARTY Kick-Off is next Sun. Sept. 28th in the parish hall from 5:30 to 7:30. PLEASE share with your PBCC and Epiphany friends. So what did Pope Francis have to say? "Go. Do Not Be Afraid. Serve." So many of you are already doing this at Vacation Bible School this week. 40+ 5th graders, MS youth and HS youth as Youth Leaders serving the children of our parish and community is an awesome way to answer the call. BRAVO. Look for the RADIX tent at the parish picnic and learn how you can continue to serve, learn about your faith and have an amazing amount of fun. Hello RADIX Youth Members!

Thank-you for making the awesome valentines to send to Widow/Widowers and singles of our parish! I've got them all addressed and will mail them today. Nice WORK!

This morning, Pope Benedict XVI announced that he will resign, effective Feb. 28, 2013 and retire to a life of prayer. He explained that he feels he is no longer physically able to fulfill the duties of Supreme Pontiff. "Be not afraid!" For over 2000 years, our church has been guided by the Holy Spirit to elect the new Pope through the Conclave (prayerful meeting to elect a Pope) attended by the Cardinals.

There will be no RADIX meeting this Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013 due to the Super Bowl. Many families have plans to be together on this date to watch the game. We will see you on Sunday, Feb. 10th. Please check back and/or check your email for upcoming events/meetings. Thanks.

Thank-you to all the RADIX youth and adults that attended the GMU Life is Very Good Rally and the 40th Annual March for Life on Friday! What an awesome experience, even though it was the COLDEST (21 degrees) march most of us have ever been on. It was totally worth the bitter cold and the falling snowflakes to witness to the sanctity and dignity of life on the streets of our nation's capitol! Thank-you for all being great sports! Next year, our goal is to go from 20 Youth Group participants to 40....but I know we CAN outdue that, with lots of prayer and personal invitation to your youth group buds! Let's keep praying for an end to abortion, and for the conversion of heart for all those who support abortion rights, most especially President Obama and members of Congress and the Supreme Court.
