It's a life surrendered to Christ.

As we have entered the "ber" month of September, it's the start of changing seasons. We are slowly and quickly at the same time of moving from summer to fall. In our spiritual life we go through season changes as well.

Won't you come join us to hear what the Lord has for us this Sunday? Seasons may change, but God never does. We are laid back, so please come in your jeans and t-shirts. Just come to the house of the Lord and worship Him with us.

Please join us at 11:00 for worship. If you're up early enough, please join us at 10:00 for Sunday School.

Good morning...so, to help you make your September plans...here you go for NEXT SATURDAY...NOT THIS HOLIDAY WEEKEND SATURDAY BUT NEXT SATURDAY FROM 8am to 2pm.

There is a section for items that are specifically being sold for the church funds. These include clothes, some furniture, and other items.

NEW THIS YEAR

There are donated BASKETS that will be raffled off. TICKETS $2 for 1 ticket; $5 for 3 tickets. You do not have to be present to win. One basket is setup for Women items; One basket is for children items; and yes, even a special "basket" designed for MEN.

Additionally, we will be selling FOOD from 10:30am until gone...
HAMBURGER, CHEESEBURGER, HOTDOG with Chips and Water meal for $5. These will be cooked onsite, on the grill, and again sold until gone.

Put this on your calendar, you do not want to miss this event. In fact, spaces are available, come out and be a part of this event!

Okay, it’s close to 2pm already but you can still make the 6pm this evening…come out and enjoy the cold AC with friendship and fellowship together in learning more about our Lord and Savior.

THIS EVENT WAS INCREDIBLE...If you missed it on Sunday, August 30th, you missed an amazing time with beautiful music, wonderful people, and a time enjoying celebrating the Goodness of God.

There is a plan for another one in the works...so, pull out your hymn books, dust off the guitar, drink the honey tea, and get ready to join us again soon. This was a great fundraising event to maintaining and eventually replacing our sanctuary for larger place as we grow in numbers but also in connection with God, expanding our prayer life and times to build on time with The Father, and joining together to worship, praise, and get stirred up in the name of Christ.

What a great day in worship, service and fellowship. We had an incredible time with our internal amazing praise and worship leaders and then we had a guest appearance by Jeff Stone and the Virginia Gospel Singers. They were scheduled for the 2pm Special Gospel service today but they came early to the service and performed a couple songs for us as well.

The Sermon concluded the series on "The Wait". We had the first service, What's in the wait, that said God is not merely making us wait, He is making us ready. Then we had week 2 service for What to do in the wait and it was to keep obedient and do what God has called you to do already until He changes it. Now for week 3, Who am I in the wait? So this wraps up with the fact that we need to stop trying to identify ourselves by our attributes, abilities, skills, knowledge and such, The Who is the fact that we are to worry about our identity based on our past, we need to know that God is with us, we are fully capable. See the mirror may define what you see, it does not define your calling.

Please join us in prayer for the people of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading districts of Nepal, that have been devastated by sudden floods and landslides. Families have lost loved ones, homes, and communities have been left in ruins. Pray for comfort, strength, and provision for those grieving the loss of loved ones and those who are clinging to hope for missing family members.
