We are excited to announce a brand new fundraiser for the Whee Read Summer Literacy Program! ​This year, we're launching Whee Read Too! — a fun, community-driven book-a-thon!

We’re inviting all of our amazing community members, parents, teachers, and friends to find sponsors to support their reading.

​Here’s how it works:
1. ​Find sponsors willing to pledge $10 per book that you read.
2. ​Read as many books as you can between now and July 10th (when our camp ends!).
3. ​All funds raised go directly toward supporting our summer literacy goals.

High school youth service trip to WARM 2026

We worked a lot, learned a lot, ate really well, saw a cool battleship, had fun on and off the beach, and most of all, grew as a group!

We are just one week away from kicking off the Whee Read Summer Literacy Program!

Rising 1st through 3rd graders are ready to dive into reading, and we want to make sure they have all the support they need.

We still have open spots for volunteers, and your time could make all the difference for a child this summer. Here is how you can help:

📖 Reading Buddies: Come read one-on-one with a student on Thursdays and Fridays from 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM. It’s just 30 minutes, and you can sign up for a single afternoon or multiple days!

🍳 Meal Support: Help us provide breakfast or lunch to keep our young readers fueled and ready to learn. More details can be found in the sign up link.
