✨ Missionary Spotlight ✨

Through prayer, partnerships, and faithful service, Joseph and Sheri strive to glorify God by helping people experience both physical help and the eternal hope found in Jesus Christ.

Joseph, Sheri, and their team support and strengthen churches throughout rural regions by training teachers and leaders, helping complete church buildings, and assisting with a Tonga Bible translation.

They regularly host discipleship conferences and training events to encourage biblical growth and strengthen churches throughout Zambia.

Join us in continuing to pray for them.

Welcome to Christ First Ministries, we open our doors every Sunday at 9:00 AM for small groups and at 10:00 AM for Worship and a message delivered by our Pastor Phillip Ashley. We also open our doors every Wednesday night starting with a meal at 5:00 PM and then small groups at 6:00 PM. We hope you enjoy todays service and we hope to see you at CFM in person soon.

Happy Monday! 🖤 Start your day off with a quick recap of yesterday's sermon — 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞: 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝟒 — and take a deeper look at missional giving. We've been provided with such rich examples in scripture, as well as how we can KNOW our offering is pleasing to God. After all, that is our goal! That is why we give — we want to honor the Lord in all that we do. And we learned that not every offering is pleasing to God.

You may have a few thoughts in your mind:

𝟏. "𝐈'𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡, 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐈 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞?" Read 2 Corinthians 8:1-7 (as alluded to in this recap).
𝟐. "𝐈𝐟 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲, 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐈 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝!" It's not that you need more money, but you need to unlearn your behavior towards spending. Be a steward with 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘 penny!

Pastor Phillip Ashley provided us with an incredible challenge. Try out these three things:
1. Move from being a receiver to a giver.
2. Move from dreading to give to finding joy in it. God loves a cheerful giver!
3. Move from making memories ONLY to making kingdom investments.

Follow the Dream
The Greek philosopher Heraclitus once said, “You could not step twice in the same river.” It is never the same. Life is very much like a rolling river. We can never relive a day. Life is forever moving and without a moment’s rest. Therefore it behooves us to give a good account of ourselves every moment of every day. Whatever his station, a Christian will strive to give an honest day’s work for an honest day’s pay. He will work as with a dream possessed, for in the words of Gerald Kennedy, “To be human means to be captured by a dream.”
