WHAT IS GOD LIKE?

We're continuing our 7×7 Conversations series this week by digging into one of the biggest questions we can ask:

What is God like?

This Sunday, we'll gather for our large-group lesson as we explore what the Bible teaches about God's character and nature. Then, on Wednesday, we'll take the conversation into our small groups, where students can ask questions, discuss what they've learned, and dig deeper with their leaders and friends.

🔎 THE BIG IDEA:
The Bible says God is eternal, personal, and maximally great.

This is what 7×7 Conversations is all about—helping students explore their biggest questions about God, life, and morality while developing a faith they can confidently live out.

Introducing 7×7 Conversations!

After a summer of Adulting 101, we're getting back to the basics at Lifeway Youth—and we're starting with some of life's biggest questions.

7×7 Conversations is an Apologetics, Inc. discipleship initiative designed to help students explore their biggest questions about God, life, and morality.

This Wednesday, students will have the opportunity to meet their small group leaders and get to know one another. Through biblical teaching, meaningful conversations, and intentional discipleship, our goal is to help students develop a faith they can confidently live out.

With 7×7 Conversations, students will be inspired, mentored, and discipled as we seek to prepare the next generation to live out the Gospel with confidence and Make Heaven Crowded! 🙌

🍽️ ADULTING 101: ETIQUETTE & MANNERS 🍽️

Good manners never go out of style. Whether you're at a job interview, a business dinner, a wedding, or simply sharing a meal with others, knowing proper etiquette shows respect, confidence, and consideration for those around you.

This Wednesday at Lifeway Youth, we'll continue our Adulting 101 series with a special evening focused on Etiquette & Manners. We'll be learning practical dining etiquette, respectful conversation, table manners, and how to carry yourself with confidence in more formal settings.

To make the experience even more authentic, we'll be enjoying dinner together at the Cuero Country Club!

👔 Dress Code: Leave the gym shorts and graphic T-shirts at home this week! You don't need a tuxedo or a ball gown—but let's trade the "just rolled out of bed" look for something a little nicer. Think church clothes or business casual!

Of course, we'll also spend time in worship and a devotional as we continue learning practical life skills through a biblical perspective.

🥋 ADULTING 101: SELF-DEFENSE 🥋

Personal safety is an important life skill, and knowing how to protect yourself starts long before a dangerous situation ever occurs. Awareness, confidence, and wise decision-making can often make all the difference.

This Wednesday at Lifeway Youth, we'll continue our Adulting 101 series with a special session on Self-Defense. Students will learn practical principles for personal safety, situational awareness, avoiding dangerous situations, de-escalating conflict when possible, and basic self-defense techniques that can help them respond if they ever find themselves in an unsafe situation.

We'll also discuss how God's Word calls us to exercise wisdom, self-control, and courage as we navigate the world around us.

Of course, we'll also spend time in worship, dive into God's Word, and enjoy a meal together!

🌐 ADULTING 101: INTERNET SAFETY 🌐

The internet can be an incredible tool—but it can also be a place filled with scams, deception, and dangers. Learning how to navigate the digital world wisely is an essential life skill for every student.

This Wednesday at Lifeway Youth, we'll continue our Adulting 101 series with a session on Internet Safety. Students will learn practical ways to protect their personal information, recognize online scams, create strong passwords, use social media wisely, and make smart decisions when interacting with others online.

We'll also talk about the importance of developing a Christ-centered approach to our digital lives, remembering that our character and witness matter just as much online as they do in person.

Of course, we'll also spend time in worship, dive into God's Word, and enjoy a meal together!
