You hear it at every church service, sometimes multiple times...
It's said at every baptism...
It's also said during the blessing at the end of worship...
But what does it really mean: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit?
And why is it so important for us to believe this and confess this?

The answers to these and other questions are coming at 9:30 on Sunday morning, so don't be late! See you soon!

Pentecost is one of the three great festivals of the church year (Christmas and Easter are the other two). It marks the birthday of the New Testament Church and the great harvest of souls won by Christ. The Church is dressed in red to remind us of the tongues of fire atop the disciples' heads, as well as the blood of the martyrs, which was the seed of the church.

Join us at 9:30 Sunday morning, because Pentecost Makes All the Difference! See you soon!

"Clap your hands, all you nations;
Shout to God with cries of joy.
For the Lord Most High is AWESOME!"

This is just a fraction of the amazing message we'll hear this Sunday at 9:30 am from Pastor Bauer. What does Jesus' ascension mean for us? It means it is now our privilege to spread our joy of his resurrection to the ends of the earth. It means he's preparing the most amazing place for us. It means that, when the Father says it's time, Jesus will come back and take us to be with him. What a comforting message!

He's Home! Shout for Joy!

Who are you living for? Even though it's Mother's Day (Happy Mother's Day to all the moms reading this!), it shouldn't be your mom or any other family member, or even yourself. It should be the One who lived for you, and died for you, and rose for you, too! In today's worship, Pastor Gaertner reminds us how our risen Savior calls us to live for Him! Join us at 9:30am to start your Mother's Day off right! See you soon!

A shepherd is a savior. He saves sheep that are lost. A critical part of a shepherd’s task is rescue work. Sheep have a propensity for getting lost. And a lost sheep does not get home. Sheep also need protection. They are defenseless animals who can not fight back when attacked, and they need a shepherd to rescue them when they are in trouble and guide them to safety when danger is near. At night, while the sheep are resting in the sheep pen, a shepherd does not clock out and go home. He sits at the gate so no intruder can get in. No one can get to the sheep unless they go through the shepherd first. Is it any wonder why Jesus is called the Good Shepherd? He cares for us, protects us, and rescues us when we, like sheep, go astray. Come and listen to the comforting message Marcus Sims offers to us at 9:30 am on Sunday morning!

Imagine someone you love is near death. Their only hope of survival is a risky brain surgery, one so complicated only one surgeon in the state will attempt it. The surgery is scheduled. But as that doctor drives to the hospital, he is killed in a car accident. Any hope you had for your loved one’s salvation died along with that surgeon.

There is little worse than a feeling of hopelessness. Christ’s two disciples on the road to Emmaus had that feeling of hopelessness. Their Savior had died! But Jesus appeared to them, and he gave them victory over that feeling. Jesus died, but he is dead no longer. The one who can heal us and give us life is alive! He lives to restore our hope!

Join us on Sunday morning at 9:30 to hear Pastor Meyer assure us of that same hope the disciples were given. See you soon!

"Rising from the dead? That can't be possible!"
This is something we commonly think Doubting Thomas would have said, even though he heard Jesus predict his death and resurrection multiple times. But the truth is, it is still said today. Even Christians doubt the same things Jesus tells us over and over again..."Do not worry," "What is impossible with man is possible with God," "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."
Thomas wrestled with doubt, and so do we. But Jesus used his doubt to strengthen his faith. And Jesus uses the things in our lives to strengthen our faith..."Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." He is risen! Jesus is STILL alive! Join us on Sunday morning at 9:30 to continue our resurrection worship!
