There’s no win in comparison! The more we focus on what others have, the more we can feel like what we have isn’t enough. Instead of comparing less and wanting more, what if we compared less and appreciated more?

Let’s take time to recognize God’s goodness in our lives, starting with the greatest gift of all—our salvation! ❤️

What is a blessing you might be overlooking?

Our lives don’t have to be perfect for us to have reasons to be thankful. We can praise God for His goodness right in the middle of our imperfect lives. When we shift our focus from what we lack to what God has already given us, we begin to see just how much we have to be grateful for! 🙌

This week, we wrapped up our Greener Grass series by spending time in Ecclesiastes 4. Solomon, a man who had everything anyone could want, reminds us that there is no real win in comparison. Why? Because the finish line keeps moving.

When envy drives us, we will never have enough. We can spend our lives on a treadmill, constantly chasing more, sacrificing our peace and missing out on the blessings we already have. Are we working toward something worthwhile, or are we simply running after things that will never truly satisfy us?

The answer isn’t to get more. It’s to compare less and appreciate more. ❤️

When we remember all that God has already done for us, we have so much reason to be content. Let’s stop allowing what we lack to rob us of the joy of what we have.

The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Sometimes, we just need to take a moment to appreciate what God has already planted right where we are. 🌱

Are we living to please God or to impress people?

Last Sunday, we talked about people pleasing and the freedom that comes when we stop managing our image and start living authentically before God and others.

Romans 15:7 reminds us to “accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.” Christ loved us and died for us while we were still sinners. We don’t have to earn His acceptance or prove our worth to others.

When we remember who we are in Christ and learn to see ourselves through God’s eyes, we can let go of the pressure to impress people. Instead, we can pursue authentic community—being genuine, honest, and willing to let others see who we really are.

God isn’t calling us to manage our image. He’s calling us to live in a way that pleases Him. And that begins with knowing whose we are and being willing to walk honestly with Him and with one another.

Join us this Sunday at 10 AM as we explore what it means to embrace a faith marked by authenticity and genuine community! ❤️

Generosity is one of the ways God grows our faith. In Matthew 6:19–21, Jesus connects our treasure with our hearts: “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

God isn’t after our money—He’s after our hearts. And sometimes our possessions can quietly hold our hearts hostage. We can become so focused on what we have, what we need, or what we want to keep that we forget that everything we have ultimately comes from Him.

God blesses us so that we can be a blessing. He calls us to be rich in good deeds, generous, and willing to share.

The great gain of generosity isn’t found in what we give up. It’s found in what God is doing in us as we learn to trust Him, loosen our grip, and live open-handed.

What if God gives to us, not simply for us to keep, but so that we can share?
