As a pastor,my heart can’t give up on anyone. No matter how I’m treated by people. God never gave up on me when things in my life was not right. I can never give up on anyone when I see things not right in others. At times, people can be really mean and other times they can really be sweet. I’ve come to the place not to be persuaded to either, that the love of God remains in my heart towards the calling He has place there.
All I know is, that people needs Jesus actively dwelling in their lives. He makes all the difference in any situation.
“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance”
(2 Peter 3:9)
Prayer: Lord, please help me to continue to be patient as you are patient and not grow weary in well doing. Believing you that more and more will come to know Christ and His Power to save and to restore. For there is no other name in which one can be saved and experience a new life one earth and make heaven their eternal home. In Jesus Holy Name, Amen !
