Please be in prayer for the family of Odie Rutledge, who passed into the arms of Jesus at 1:30 am today.
Odie was an active member of WSMC, where he had served in many capacities over the years; Song Leader, Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School Teacher, Trustee, etc. He always saw to the needs of the church, supported it financially and faithfully, and enjoyed participating in the monthly Share Service. He and his family have hosted our annual Fall Festival at their farm for years. His wit, wisdom, encouragement, and support will be greatly missed. Odie was the last surviving charter member of WSMC still on the membership roll. The church was chartered 59 years ago this coming weekend.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. Final arrangements will be posted when available.

What an inspirational, motivational, encouraging message our denomination president delivered to us this morning! Thank you Rev. Rick Pigott for reminding us that our bodies are the temples of God . May revival come to all of God’s churches throughout America! I wish the pews could have been filled for this service. It was a blessed morning at Wesley Southern Methodist Church.
