Celebrate Recovery exists to bring gospel healing and freedom to those wounded by life issues and addictive struggles through weekly small group meetings working through the twelve steps and eight recovery principles. What is a hurt, habit, or
hang up? A hurt, habit, or hang up is something that hinders your walk with God. The feeling of being hurt is an emotional reaction to another person’s beh

avior, or to a disturbing situation (abuse, abandonment, co-dependency, divorce, relationship issues…)

A habit is an addiction to something or someone (alcohol, drugs, food, gambling, s*x, pornography…)

A hang up is a negative mental attitude that is used to cope with people or adversity (anger, depression, fear, unforgiveness…)
