An adult should never be with a child alone behind a closed bathroom door. Ask a volunteer from another classroom to accompany you and the child to the restroom. Leave all classroom doors open until volunteer returns. Older children may be excused to

the bathroom one at a time. Behavioral Policies: 1st offense = a verbal warning. 2nd offense = a verbal warning and sitting out from activity + parents notified. Continued offenses = sitting out of all activities, parents notified or possible removal from class. Any danger or harm brought to another child is automatic removal from class.
