LABOR DAY REMINDER

We will not have 6:30 a.m. or 12:10 p.m. Masses on Labor Day.

We WILL have Mass at 9:00 a.m. on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7, 2026, in our Oak Street Church, and we invite you to join us!

There will be NO Confessions at 5 p.m.
The Parish Center and the Adoration Chapel will be CLOSED.

Our Holy Hearts Adoration Chapel will reopen on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 6:15 a.m.

In our first reading this weekend, the Lord desires us to be confident enough to speak truth, and our Gospel reading asks us to be prepared to stand firm in the Lord.

Father Mike encourages us this week to focus on how God is calling us to be faithful. We do not need to be afraid of living our faith in public -- praying a Rosary on the train, making the sign of the cross before a meal at a restaurant, being a Christ-bearer to others -- all of our behaviors -- big and small -- can help bring Christ to others.

When the opportunity presents itself -- and it will -- we need only be open to the Holy Spirit.

God isn't asking us to convert someone, he is calling us to be faithful.

St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church always has volunteer opportunities!

The Knights of Columbus Father McCormick Council 3880 is hosting its ANNUAL which raises money to support individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.

On Saturday Sept. 18, and Sunday, Sept. 19, 2026 the Knights are looking for volunteers to join them in standing outside of local establishments that weekend ~ for two-hour time slots. Bring friends, bring the family.
