We had a great time at Crystal Lake United Methodist Church this morning! The message/ theme was A Man After God’s Own Heart. Each man received a gift bag with cross socks, a key chain and a bag of chips. Larry & Maycee ushered. Larry stepped in for Bruce because Bruce had a singing gig at another church. I didn’t know about the switch and came dressed like Bruce😂😂
Steve led worship and said some sweet words about me and led the congregation in singing happy birthday to me. Zoey and Emalea sang beautifully about God’s “Reckless Love”❤️ I preached and told stories about my Dad and how he tried to live like a man after God’s Heart.
Marilyn, the kids and I served a brunch of egg bakes, assorted fruit, and cinnamon rolls! Coffee and pink lemonade!
It was so fun to be together, worshipping, laughing and eating and eating some more 😂
