We had so much fun at church today! Crystal Lake United Methodist! Robert had been talking about his Native American heritage so Steve brought the music to play the 1960’s hit single “Running Bear “. His plan was to sing it for Robert before church. I thought everyone might enjoy it so we decided to scratch the prelude I’d chosen and Steve sang and played Running Bear😂It was lively and fun but it actually could be turned into a sermon about how tragic it is when people who are created in the image of God decide to hate one another because they aren’t of the same “tribe”. Hmmmm🤔
Pastor Les preached the Good News! Larry ushered and in continuation of our He Calls me Daughter night, he gave each woman a ring with an attached card, “May this ring remind you that He Calls you Daughter “
Zoey was our acolyte.
Bruce, Zoey and Rachel served fellowship treats and we enjoyed our Sunday morning of just being together 🥰 I couldn’t love this church anymore ❤️
Tuesday our community quilt group will meet at the church at 2PM!
Wednesday at 2:30 is Creative Kids!
Friday! June 5th! The kids who are going to camp and any interested adults should meet at the church by 3PM. We’ll carpool to church camp in Okoboji for an open house and the kids will get a little preview of what camp will be like🥰 Can’t wait 🥳

What a night at Crystal Lake United Methodist! The parking lot filled up quickly as ladies arrived for our He Calls me Daughter night❤️The food was delicious! The men served us well and the kids were spectacular! I’ll post what pictures I have from Jordan and I look forward to receiving the professional photos taken by Wyatt Dean❤️ I’ll share them with you when I get them!

Friday! May 29th! That’s this week! At 5:30 PM we’ll be ready and waiting !
Thanks to Larry for temporarily darkening the sanctuary for our movie! Thanks to my favorite granddaughter for helping me begin to set up and decorate!
We’ve got lots of great food coming! And the best door prizes!
Can’t wait to see you ladies at this special evening at Crystal Lake United Methodist! 🥰All ladies welcome ❤️Dress up or come as you are to this free event! We will have a donation basket set out for those able to give to help our kids go to church camp❤️
