Apostleship:
'For though I am free from all, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win more of them. To the Jews I became as a Jew, in order to win Jews. To those under the law I became as one under the law (though not being myself under the law) that I might win those under the law. To those outside the law I became as one outside the law (not being outside the law of God but under the law of Christ) that I might win those outside the law. To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some. I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings.
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. So I do not run aimlessly; I do not box as one beating the air. But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.'
1 Korinthos 9:19-27
I believe that The Lord still sends out those who are Apostles in this world. The biggest lie that is being battled through is unbelief and the lies tied around it.
There are people that have fallen asleep, once we walking strong but now are riding on the coat-tails of what they once have done. God still does miracles, healing, and casting out demons (not just through science, medicine, psychology, or technology).
The same way God sent out The Apostles to thousands of people, Jesus has commissioned you to fulfill his destiny for your life. He has a purpose for your life. Don't allow the enemy a foothold in your soul [mind, will/willpower, emotions] to make you second guess that.
Jesus has direction for your life. Don't allow the enemy a chance to doubt who He's called you to be.
The Holy Spirit is more then just a story in a book. He's alive, active, and well. Don't allow the enemy to persuade you that it's just your conscious or 'third-eye' or whatever lies spit out of the enemy and his mouth.
You are a force to be wrecked with, God knows that - so He breathes life in you. Identically, so does the enemy - so that thief tries to steal away your calling and your purpose.
But you are a champion, a victor, a servant of the most High God who is not partial and takes no bribe. One who is set apart from everything else in this world and through Jesus, you get to freely fellowship with every single day.
A King on a throne who has conquered death, suffering, pain, discomfort, false witness, and trials of the soul. That King had every part of his mind, body, and soul tested. He made death a ridicule by the cross that Jesus Christ took for you and me. Now He's made you into a spiritual destruction machine of all things that stand in God's way. You are now a piece of the refined metal used to shine the light of God into every situation you are in.
You have value to The Lord. You are not washed up, too old, too broken, too hurt, too poor, too useless, too inadequate for The Lord your God. You have been given life to give life away freely. You are a life-giver to all things that God values and Jesus wants you to deliver His promise to the world, your friends, family, coworkers, and those the enemy seeks to darken.
The enemy seeks the ones you're not seeking. The enemy does this through their eyes, ears, and hearts. Become a mighty hunter and fisherman for The Lord today. Be on the offensive. Be urgent. Be intentional. Don't look for everything to be put on your lap this morning. Be hungry for the things of God and He's going to fill you abundantly.
Keep pressing in, this isn't that tough. You're built for more. Go forward. Wait when God tells you to wait. Fight when He tells you to fight. Stop fighting when He says stop. Press deeper. Pray a bit harder. Cry a bit more. The giver of life wants to give greater life to His saints. And you're apart of that.
