Parents, schedule some alone time, or some “ you” time on Saturday, June 4th.
Bring your K4 - 18 years of age to Cruger Baptist Church. We will host a one day Vacation Bible School. We start at 9:00a.m and finish up at 4:00p.m. Just think, seven hours of peace and quite for you and, seven hours of fun, food, arts and crafts, music and dancing, sports, and of course learn how they are all a “fearfully and wonderfully made.”God’s very own Masterpiece! Message me to register your child/children. Pray for VBS, and share this post to help us get the word out.

For several months now I have been preaching on, and encouraging our faith family to share their conversion story.
1 Peter 3:15 say’s: “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;”
‭‭I want you all to be about the business of making disciples and sharing what Christ is doing in your lives as if you were giving a praise report.
Sunday, May 22nd, my friend and brother in Christ Chad Miley will be coming to Cruger Baptist to share his story. Chad is the president of the “Hellfighters” Jackson unit. Chad said; “Brother, we don’t call ourselves a chapter like most biker clubs. We call ourselves a unit which stands for unity in Christ.” The Hellfighters are a Christian motorcycle club. They go, and where they go, they share Christ. So, come join us this Sunday to hear Chad and perhaps a few other testimonies. Worship starts at 11:00.
What a great opportunity to bring a friend or relative that doesn’t relate well to preaching. Perhaps what Chad has to say will be exactly what they need to hear.
If you know of some folks that love to ride motorcycles, tell them to suit up, and head our way this coming Sunday.

Good afternoon beloved of God! Three announcements for you. First, April 3rd Cruger Baptist will have a baby dedication. This will take place in our morning worship service.
Second, Our Easter service will start at 8:00a.m. Immediately following our Easter service we’ll serve breakfast in the fellowship hall. If you and yours are looking for a place to celebrate the “Resurrection Day” please consider this your invitation to join us. You’ll be glad you did.
And finally, I’m excited to announce Cruger Baptist will have our Vacation Bible School, On Saturday, June 4th. It will be a one day VBS, but you want be shortchanged on the fun, fellowship, music, crafts, recreation, food, and of course Jesus!!

Good morning. Heavy snow in the beautiful metropolis of Cruger. However, Main Street and walkways or just wet. Snow appears to be melting instantly on concrete and pavements.
It is above freezing now and temps will rise throughout the morning.
So, Sunday School at 9:45a.m and worship at 11:00a.m.
As always, the ultimate decision to come to Sunday School and worship is yours. We encourage you to use your best judgment in weather such as this. Your pastor loves you, and will write you an excused absence. You will get extra points if you tune in on our Facebook service. The last time I looked we had 50 views on last week service. To all our Facebook family, you are appreciated and prayed for.

I get it, the low rumbling thunder, flashes of lightning, rain pelting the roof and windows, perfect weather for pulling the covers over your shoulders and going back to sleep.

Isaiah 43:1-2 reminds us that the Lord is not a fair weather Savior. He is our Savior no matter how high the creek rises or how hot the flames get in the kitchen.
As for me and my house, we will not be fair weather Christians. We will worship the Lord no matter how high the creek rises.
