🎉 Weekend Challenge: Invite a Friend to VBS! 🎉

VBS is always more fun with friends! This weekend, challenge your child to invite someone to join them at VBS.

Need a simple way to invite? Use our VBS Coloring Sheet Invitation! Your child can color it, personalize it, and give it to a friend. https://tinyurl.com/ms2v56f9

No printer? No problem! A text, phone call, playground conversation, or personal invitation works just as well.

You never know how one invitation could make an eternal impact.

This week, we learned how Jesus met a Samaritan woman at a well and offered her Living Water, the gift of eternal life through Him. When she discovered that Jesus is the promised Messiah, she shared the good news with her town, and many came to believe in Him!

This week, talk as a family:
đź’§ Why was it surprising that Jesus spoke with the Samaritan woman?
💧 What is the “Living Water” Jesus offers?
đź’§ Who in your life needs to hear about Jesus?

This Sunday we learned all about John the Baptist and his BIG mission to point people to Jesus!

While crowds started following Jesus instead of him, John wasn’t jealous or upset. He was excited! John knew he was never meant to be the Savior… his job was to prepare the way for the One who is greater. Our kids were challenged to think about how we can make MORE of Jesus in our lives and LESS of ourselves. Whether at home, school, sports, or with friends, we want our lives to point others to Him!

Keep the conversation going this week:
đź’¬ Why was John happy when people followed Jesus?
đź’¬ What are some ways we can make Jesus more important in our everyday lives?

“He must become greater; I must become less.” — John 3:30

One of the BEST parts of VBS is worshiping Jesus together! Our amazing worship team is already hard at work getting ready to lead an unforgettable week of praise, energy, and fun.

Start getting your kids excited now by turning on the VBS playlist at home, in the car, or during dance parties in the kitchen! We can’t wait to hear everyone singing these songs together at VBS. https://tinyurl.com/4ewfc6u8

What an incredible day learning about Jesus’ conversation with Nicodemus in John 3! Nicodemus came to Jesus with questions, but Jesus offered him something far greater than answers: new life. Jesus explained that no one can enter God’s kingdom unless they are “born again” through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our kids also learned that the Bible points to Jesus from beginning to end. Jesus reminded Nicodemus about the story of Moses lifting up the serpent in the wilderness, showing that He would one day be lifted up on the cross so that everyone who believes in Him could be saved and have eternal life.

This week, continue the conversation at home:
✨ What does it mean to follow Jesus with a changed heart?
✨ Why did Jesus come to save us?
✨ How does believing in Jesus give us hope?

This weekend’s challenge is simple: bless someone in a small way.

Hold the door open. Leave an encouraging note. Pay for a coffee. Help a neighbor. Send a text to check in on someone. Small acts of kindness may seem little to us, but they can mean so much to the person receiving them.

One of the greatest ways kids learn to love others is by watching the adults around them. When parents choose kindness in everyday moments, they are showing their children what it looks like to live like Jesus.

This weekend, look for one small way your family can bless someone together. You never know how God might use a simple gesture to brighten someone’s day and point them to His love. ✨
