Hey Rooted Fam 👋

It’s hard to believe but June is almost over 🤯☀️ we want to finish off the month trying to soak in all the Sun & fun we can.

Our last couple events for June:

🎆 Friday, June 28th: Firework Night — come join a group of us to watch the fireworks at Rohrman Park in Schererville

⛳️ Saturday, June 29th: A Day in Valpo - we’re hitting Valparaiso together for a day of mini golf, go karts, walking downtown, and enjoying Valpo’s legendary coffee & ice cream.

Hey Rooted Fam 👋

We’re SO excited to announce the kickoff to our summer events ☀️🌲 😎

THIS SATURDAY get ready to kickoff the summer with an a day of fun, sun, and fellowship.

There will be outdoor activities including spikeball, ultimate frisbee, disc golf, card and board games & then we will end the day with worship and a prayer walk.

Please bring snacks and your own packed lunch. Bottled water will be provided. You are also welcome to bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket :)

This is the first of many events we have planned for the summer, so keep you’re eyes 👀 on our socials for all announcements and updates!

We hope you’ll us with Pastor Steve & his family THIS Friday January 19th for dinner, short lesson, and a Q&A session.

We are 1 WEEK AWAY from our annual Christmas Party & we can’t wait to see you there!!

This year’s theme is 🌟JOY🌟
As part of the fruit of the Spirit, we will take a closer look into where our joy comes from - this Christmas season and in the Christian’s life.

Get ready to celebrate the source of our joy! Some highlights to look forward to:

🎄a teaching over Joy
🎄a time of worship, with classic Christmas songs
🎄breakfast food from the one & only Cracker Barrel
🎄a hot chocolate bar, Christmas Photo Booth, a white elephant gift exchange (~$10), cookie decorating, games, and more…

Hey Rooted Fam 👋 There is so much to reflect back on and be grateful for in this season. Some highlights from November:

💡Our large group prayer night was such an amazing night of reflection and worship, mediating on God’s goodness and provision. Thank you to everyone who came!

💡CL Rooted had the privilege of hearing from one of Bethel’s elders on the importance of Christian community. Some Rooted members also shared how God has used this community to work powerfully in their lives.

💡Our small groups’ Friendsgivings went great! It was a amazing time to fellowship over delicious food and reflect on all we are thankful for.

Looking back, one overwhelming sentiment sticks out — there is so much to thank God for & this community is high on the list ❤️

We can’t wait to make many more incredible memories together in the year ahead!!

✨ Our next large group event is NEXT FRIDAY December 15th. Its Rooted’s annual CHRISTMAS PARTY. Be on the look out soon for all the details 👀🎄✨

Hey Rooted Fam 👋 We’re excited for you to join us again for this month’s large group event happening this Friday!

Friday will be our first event focused on serving as part of our new series which takes us through both teaching and serving opportunities. We will be serving our church, our community, and our country by praying on their behalf!

Get ready for a night filled with worship, scripture-guided moments of meditation and prayer, and the chance to come together as a group to lift up our praises and requests to the One who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think 🙌

Who’s ready to kick off something new?? We’re excited to announce that THIS Friday marks the beginning of our BRAND NEW series!

“You will know them by their fruit” is the new series the Rooted family will walk through this year. We will officially launch this series on Friday night @6:30pm at the Bethel Crown Point campus!

This new series features both teaching and serving opportunities. We will kick off the series with a teaching lesson from one of Bethel’s very own elders on “self control”! We invite you to pray for both the new ministry year and for all those who will attend.

We hope to see you there for a night of worship, teaching, food & fellowship!
