Adult Bible Study: 7 p.m. Teen Youth Group (grades 7-12): 7 p.m. Patch Club for Children (age 4-6th grade): 7 p.m.

CHOOSE GRATITUDE
As Christians, we are called to have a spirit of gratitude every day. Grumbling and complaining shows a lack of gratitude and comes from a heart of pride. It’s an attitude that says, “I deserve better.” The Israelites often complained in the wilderness. Though God met all of their needs, they still complained about every new discomfort. God was not pleased with their murmuring, and He judged them for their sin. We must choose to see the blessings and benefits God has given us through salvation instead of dwelling on what we don’t have. Let’s purposefully choose to be thankful!

SALVATION BY FAITH
Jesus declared that all those who believe on Him will have eternal life. That means faith is the key to salvation. When we believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died on the cross for our sins, and accept Him as our Savior, we have eternal life. Do we need to earn our salvation by doing good things or religious works? No. Jesus said all we have to do is believe. That’s good news, because we could never be good enough to earn our salvation. Let’s rejoice that God’s plan of salvation is by faith and not by works!
