Recently I have had some dear friends say goodbye to a loved one as their love ones entered their eternal reward. In 2013, I was to say good bye (see you in the morning ) to my late wife, My step mother and my father all unexpectedly and in just 60 days time. Before that year was over 5 more family members on my mother's side of the family also passed away. It was during this difficult valley I wrote the following poem. I post it here today praying it will comfort someone who needs to hear it's words. ( TEARS ARE MY FRIEND ): Tears are my friend, when sorrows come and my tears flow: this I know, cry I will, cry I must; yet I've learned to trust my savior. I will experience tears of joy remembering good times shared, knowing my loved one and I cared.I will have tears of sorrow when it seems like there will be no tomorrow. So cry I will, cry I must, yet my God I've learned to trust. Till the day come when the savior too shall call me to my home in the sky, where He has promised to wipe away every tear from my eye. Until that day come : cry I will; cry I must: because tears are my friend to remind me one day I'll cry no more on Heaven's sweet shore. By bro. Bill Keisling in hopes of giving comfort to those who may need it right now.
