Thank you for the thoughtful card, encouraging words, and generous gift for Pastor Appreciation. Your love and support mean so much to me. Serving as your pastor is a beautiful blessing, and I’m grateful we get to follow Jesus and serve our community together.

Vicki and I also want to thank you for remembering our wedding anniversary with a beautiful card and gift. How special it is to have a church family that celebrates with us and cares for us so personally.

You have made us feel deeply loved and appreciated. We thank God for you!

Leadership Meeting Report

Our two churches agreed to join with First Baptist Church and the Assembly of God churches for a community wide Christmas Eve Service this year.

Pastor Terry reviewed the significance and qualifications for church leadership as well as the leadership structure for the new year beginning January 2027: Staffing Team, Finance Team, Trustees Team; church members were asked to write down three names of leaders to serve on the Lay Leadership Team Chaired by Pastor Terry, who will then nominate leaders for the three Leadership Teams in 2027; those receiving the most votes for serving on the Lay Leadership Team are Stephanie Bearded, Becky Martinez and Joseph Santos.

Toni Myers reported that the Crowell Methodist Church has maintained adequate funds for meeting the operational and ministry needs of the congregation.

Virginia Whatley expressed that the Margaret Church was sufficiently funded as well so far this year.

Stephanie Bearden made a request for a larger mini-split heating and cooling unit for the fellowship hall to sufficiently accommodate the room. Matt Tamplen donated a 3 ton unit to meet this need. He and Craig Miller will install the unit as soon as possible. Thank you Matt and Lacy Tamplen and Craig Miller.

Next meeting will be Sunday, October 11 in Crowell immediately following the worship service.
